Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor
We are using SolarWinds to monitor our network across 17 different locations. We get notified when switches and routers are rebooted all the way to the devices overheating. We also use it to geo-map our buildings so we know where our equipment is as well as all of the IPs and configuration of the devices. It's a very robust piece of software.

- We paid a monitoring company to monitor our network. No longer doing that.
- The company charged us to customize the SW software, we no longer use them.
- The software is ours and we own it.
Cost savings and ease of setup and configuration. LanSchool was a yearly fee for us and we wanted to get away from that. We want to own the software and choose when we want to upgrade to the latest version not have it forced upon us when a 3rd party monitoring company wanted is to upgrade.
