Overall Satisfaction with Square 9 Softworks
Our IT company introduced us to Square 9 Softworks. We first used their health screening tool during COVID. It was pretty easy to implement. We were provided a QR code that we could affix to our doors. People would scan it and fill out a survey. Depending on their answers, they were given a 'go ahead' to enter the building or not. We could go online and access all the data. Obviously that was very helpful during COVID. We didn't have to have paper and clean/dirty pens sitting out on some desk or stand to maintain.
When we asked our IT company for recommendations for cloud storage, they once again put forth Square 9 Softworks. We already used a company for cloud storage but were not happy because it's performance was inconsistent. Using the cloud storage allows us to archive documents and get rid of some paper. The process was once again pretty easy. I can easily scan and maintain my archives with some pretty straightforward controls.
When we needed to create on online application, once again, Square 9 Softworks was put forth. This application will allow our potential students to apply online instead of coming to our facility in person. We are also working on being able to take the data and import it directly into another program we use to track our students.
They've done such a good job and we've enjoyed the process so much that we've just recently approached them about doing an auto fill form for us.

- The functionality is great but it can be a bit overwhelming. There's so much you can do that it's hard to remember how to do it - even if they've reviewed it with you and left themselves available for follow up. I don't want to necessarily have to take a class to learn how to use the product in full.
- Having less paper in the office has saved space and supplies. We no longer need to purchase those expensive cardboard folders for archiving.
- Having someone do their own health screening is safer and saves us from keeping a staff member devoted to that task.
- I used to have to spend hours physically culling archive records. Now I can sort it and weed it with clicks of a button!
The cloud storage has been very helpful because it takes up less space, supplies and time. I love that I can maintain my archives on my computer instead of going into some dusty, old room outside of my office. Maintaining it at my desk keeps me connected to the people in my office and anyone that may need me. It's saves me a lot of time to not physically cull files. I can also pull information for people quicker. Again, I don't have to go somewhere else to get a transcript, for instance. I can access it on my computer and print or email it.
We chose to leave ImageSilo and go with Square 9 Softworks because 1) ImageSilo was inconsistent and buggy and 2) Square 9 Softworks was streamlined and had a lot of helpful features. It seemed easier to maintain.
