Overall Satisfaction with talentReef

We use talentReef primarily for hiring and HR software for our full-service restaurant locations. It is an excellent platform for a small business to manage online applications, stay compliant with required documentation, and recruit new talent. Before we utilized talentReef we used paper applications which led to sporadic results. When we opened our second location we knew we needed a better way to receive, review, and hire staff.

  • Best used by a HR professional to navigate intricacies.
  • Can be cumbersome at times trying to sort applicants.
  • Turnover minimal.
  • Onboarding simplified.
I have used other software in the past for employee management (PeopleMatter) and TalentReef was easy to train with my management staff, easy to use for application management, and had a low error rate. The ratings for applications and questionnaires are helpful when determining which applicants to bring in if you have a large amount.
We have had very few issues with talentReef, but when we did they were resolved quickly and in a timely manner.

talentReef is good for small and large businesses. I have experienced that unless you have a HR director or Coordinator that it is more of a challenge to get the full benefits out of the software. It does require time to set up and maintain, but overall the time savings from paper applications and onboarding is substantial.
