Overall Satisfaction with Cision Communications Cloud

We use JetBlue primarily in the Public Relations / Corporate Communications department. While we are the primary users, it is also used with marketing and promotions departments. Cision Communications Cloud (TrendKite)* allows us to easily monitor and report on media coverage, reach, and the impact of our public campaigns.

  • Ease of use - the platform is very user friendly and responsive. Across devices the experience is consistent and simply put, it works.
  • Robust features - the features and available data to report on are definitely a huge plus. You can get very specific in the types of media you want to monitor and specific searches you want to build. It is very simple to build a broad search or a super specific search to monitor.
  • Customer support - bar none, it is some of the best support I have experienced. Whether we need help building a search or using a feature, I would describe the support as friendly, knowledgeable and white glove. They go above and beyond to the point where some times they feel like another member of our PR team.
  • Ad Value - the biggest drawback is the ambiguity of ad equivalency. While this is a feature that is very frustrating, it goes without saying that this is not an exclusive issue to Cision, it is industry-wide.
  • Cision PR Software
Cision (pre-TrendKite acquisition)* is definitely the so called leader in the PR reporting and monitoring space, but their extremely difficult to use platform and lack of support (and high cost) makes Cision Communications Cloud (TrendKite)* a much more viable option. Ease of use is a major factor in who clients choose and I think that is why we chose Cision Communications Cloud (TrendKite)*.

Well Suited
- Crisis monitoring (real-time media monitoring)
- Promotional reach - seeing how impactful our various marketing, PR, and promotions campaigns are
- Quarterly reporting on major news events
Not Well Suited
- Daily news monitoring - it is much simpler and a more easy experience for our team to build daily news reports by searching through Google News than it is to use Cision Communications Cloud for daily collection of all of our news mentions.

Transition from TrendKite to Cision Communications Cloud

They are responsive, friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy. The fact that they work with you to the point where they will help you build searches or send you completed reports makes it feel like they are part of the team and completely dedicated to you as the client which is extremely helpful.

Using Cision Communications Cloud

The modern platform is well built. The embedded tools are very clear and user-friendly. Compared to the competition, TrendKite definitely knocks it out of the park. I know that I keep mentioning support, but that plays a major role in our usability. When we do run into a roadblock or confusion with a tool, customer support quickly and effectively helps us over that hurdle.
