Overall Satisfaction with Cision Communications Cloud

We utilize Cision Communications Cloud (TrendKite)* to track our reach in the media, compare ourselves to our competitors, and identify new areas of influence we might reach too.

Pros

  • Captures digital mentions
  • Tracks spread of coverage over social media
  • Organizes data into convenient metrics
  • Provides valuable earned media cost/value estimates

Cons

  • Poorly tracks TV mentions
  • Difficult measuring of radio mentions
  • Methodology for measuring social media engagement and trackback to website is difficult to understand, measure, and explain to c-level management.
We did all PR tracking and metrics manually prior to Cision.
Tracking share of voice against competitors is an excellent use of Cision Communications Cloud. Cision also provides a wonderful newsletter option, providing simple reporting features and impressive data sets that impress in the c-office and board room.

Transition from TrendKite to Cision Communications Cloud

Cision (TrendKite) customer support is nearly immediate. Questions are answered in realtime during business hours and very quickly even after hours. User interface and ease of use is excellent.
