Overall Satisfaction with TriNet
TriNet is used for payroll and benefits for the entire company. Using a PEO has enabled us to provide healthcare to our employees at a lower cost than we would be able to get on our own. It is also cost effective for payroll, HR and benefits admin when compared to an in house resource.
Pros
- Payroll
- Benefit offerings
- Onboarding
Cons
- Any services beyond the basic payroll and benefits are not good. We've tried using them for performance appraisals and expense reporting and their product offerings are cumbersome and poorly designed.
- Customer service is very unresponsive. Emails go unanswered, etc. There is no single point of contact which makes their services hard to use, except the most basic.
- Their web site is terrible and difficult to navigate. They released a beta version of a new site which was even worse (I went back to the old one). Reporting is difficult to find.
- Positive- allowed us to focus on core business functions.
- Positive- provide competitive benefits given our company size.
- Negative- wasted time trying to use other TriNet features.
