Use Cases and Deployment Scope

UKG is used to pay the employees and report on this data. We have the HR portal, but it is not helpful at all, and the support to get it going is not great.

Gets people paid once the setup is accurate.
Reporting from WFR.

Support.
Implementation.
HR applicate tracking.
Payroll reporting.

Return on Investment

Increased accountability.
Tracking of time off requests vs manual.
Access to employee portal for various documents.

Usability

Core and WFR being split is very complex and doesn't allow for the best reports to come. You really have to know where to dig the reports from which is complex still.

Ease of Integration

I think we had the worst integration. We had many outstanding items left when going live, and I had to threaten to cancel the contract to get any traction.

UKG Personal Experience

Reduced time it takes to submit a vacation or sick time request. The system tracking for these items is so great!

It works well as a basic payroll system. I struggle to see benefits outside of this. The implementation was a struggle. BI reporting is ok at best.
