Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We currently use the product initially to back up configurations, In the next few steps we will appli on to virtual machines and then databases.

Pros and Cons

console operation is easy and intuitive

Occasionally, it can be difficult to understand the cause of a (infrequent) work malfunction unless examining the logs.

Return on Investment

Fortunately, we did not have this type of event, but we are moving forward with immutability for the backup protection. This will provide us with security when it comes to recovering backups.

Usability

Previously we used a tool which was extremely complex, with veeam it is extremely easy to set up jobs and edit them to add objects

Veritas Backup Exec

We used this tool which was very hard to create jobs, edit jobs, restore objects, also did not have the granularity in own veeam
