We use Veeam to backup and replicate our VMWare servers to our backup/replication servers and to our cloud backup solution.

- It can be complicated, it is complicated, to set up for the first time

The product that we were using before was a very simple solution and was packaged with a NAS that we used. Unfortunately, when we ran into issues we were unable to get support or help. The last time we were unable to get help, we purchased Veeam and were backing up again within days/week.
We only backup 5 critical infrastructure servers to the cloud, so far it has worked out well.
