Overall Satisfaction with Webroot Advanced Email Encryption powered by Zix

It is an overall pretty good product, just like the rest of the products Webroot offers. Use once in a while for sending emails but primarily set it up for clients to use, especially for the ones that need encryption when they send emails with confidential information. It is mainly used by clients that need it for HIPPA compliance.
  • Easy to use.
  • Nice interface.
  • No major issues.
  • Support could be better.
  • Better security for emails.
The implementation of the Webroot Advanced Email Encryption was really pretty easy and did not run into any major issues at all. The documentation could have been a bit clearer and the support a bit more responsive, but again, there were no real issues for us when we implemented it for our clients.
I feel that the setup for Webroot Advanced Email Encryption was much easier than RSign to implement for our clients who needed email encryption. RSign seems like a good option for email encryption, but the setup was definitely more complicated than the setup for Webroot. Have had customers that used both say they prefer Webroot.

It is a good option for clients that need email encryption for compliance reasons. The clients we have that use the Webroot Advanced Email Encryption need it for HIPAA compliance. I am sure there are other compliance needs that this would also work well for. It is not really suitable for individual home users.
