Overall Satisfaction with Workfront

We are using it within our Marketing organization, including marketing strategy, operations, production, and creative development. We use the tool to streamline our workflow processes, capacity management and demand management, as a centralized location to house our materials and communications. We use the tool to realize efficiency gains in time to market, streamline roles and responsibilities, as well as reporting and insights.
  • Friendly user interface encourages adoption and engagement
  • High customization ability enables one instance of the tool delivering benefits/use cases for many different user groups (e.g., requesters, project managers, workers, reviewers, etc.)
  • Continual new releases of product features gives me confidence the tool will grow with our company and our needs.
  • Too much flexibility can be a bad thing without enough direction/guidance, particularly for clients who don't have clear vision of their use cases.
  • More structured training for core implementation team and help with end user rollout training will be very helpful.
  • It has help provide visibility and transparency into what our team members work on and offer opportunities to drive up productivity/reduce duplication of efforts.
  • With data on what went wrong/can go wrong, we're mitigating complaints on root cause of the barriers/roadblocks in any given project.
Redbooth seems like an even easier to use/intuitive product than Workfront, but lacks the structure, expanded features (e.g., reporting capabilities) and streamlined templates that we need for our organization.
Workfront (out of the box) serves our needs on standardizing processes, centralizing work location, drive cycle time and manage resource capacity/demand. It is really helpful for use in marketing/creative processes, but I wish there was more out of the box reporting support/templates to make it easier to gather/report/review data. I can envision using Workfront with our technology teams as well but that will be a longer term use case.
