Overall Satisfaction with Workfront

  • Highly flexible custom data fields and reporting.
  • Easy learning curve for project managers and team members.
  • Great project activity history logging.
  • Better output of project schedules; reports that show the WBS hierarchy would be helpful.
  • Better collaboration tools and email integration to provide more of a platform (similar to BaseCamp) for project communications.
  • Workfront has allowed us to improve the service provided to our clients through better organized, more efficient projects.
  • Workfront has been instrumental in our dedication to moving projects from sale to live as quickly as possible.
I think Workfront is more well suited for small to medium size enterprises where the project management culture may be new or not very mature. Organizations with a very strong project management culture and highly complex projects may find Workfront lacking in some areas.
