Overall Satisfaction with Workfront
- Centralize projects in one solution
Our marketing team used to use a variety of different tools for all of our projects so everything was in different places and made it difficult to find. With Workfront, now all of our project for everything marketing is in one place where it can be accessed easily. It has made our team much more efficient and has allowed us to have consistent marketing campaigns throughout our different channels.
The Proof HQ tool is amazing for our team as well. We use it for all of our creative and it have made everyone's life much easier, from designer to managers. We used to print out creative and send it around for everyone to comment on. This was beyond inefficient and now with Proof HQ things are much much easier.

Pros
- Reporting - you can report on just about anything within Workfront. You are able to get a great idea of where your strengths and weaknesses are.
- You can customize Workfront to fit your needs. Although Workfront can be a bit complex, it does allow you to customize the tool in a way that works for each of your users. Everyone works differently so having the ability to customize the user experience for each user is a huge strength.
Cons
- Mobile/App - when it comes to using workfront on a phone it is a bit frustrating. I used the app at first and the majority of the time the app did not work. I then just tried to use it on my phone's browser and the sit was not mobile responsive.
- I have only reached out to customer service a few times, but the few times I have reached out they have not been completely helpful. Instead of helping me through my issue they would send me to a FAQ page for me to dig through and find my answer. Would've been nice to just get the answer from the customer service team and not have to dig through the FAQ page.
- Productivity has increased tremendously! We used to struggle to get ahead of our upcoming campaigns and were creating project the day before or even the day they were due. Now with Workfront, we are a month ahead and planning 2-3 months ahead of the project due date.
- The team is much more satisfied with the project management tool more than any other tool we have used in the past. We were constantly hearing how the tool didn't fit their personal needs with other tools.

The other tools that we used in the past were simple and therefore the capabilities were really limited. Workfront is quite complex in what it can do which is something we didn't see with the other tools we used. We also were able to make Workfront work for ever facet of our team so everything was in one tool, whereas other tools only worked for certain teams and therefore we needed different tools for different teams.
We have three team meetings every week and in every meeting we use Workfront to drive those meetings because everything we are discussing is within Workfront. We don't have to open different windows, tools or emails to find what we need to discuss because everything we need is right where we need it. The ability to comment on different tasks and creative has certainly enhanced collaboration which is important since we are a company that relies heavily on creative. It used to be a challenge to give feedback on creative, but with Proof HQ we have made that process much easier for everyone associated with the project.
We did use the professional services by Workfront and although in the beginning to get things set up was helpful we found that it was an extremely slow process. We actually moved forward on our own to finish the set up because it was so slow. We would have calls with our reps and each time we would begin the call by saying we would like to get into the more advanced aspects of the tool.
