Agile CRM

For small businesses who need one piece of software to do a lot for the money, their free plan for 10 users is awesome and upgrading is very good value. They are our go-to suggestion for clients who need a CRM and marketing automation but can't justify Hubspot from a price perspective. A CRM at the most basic can hold notes and contact details about clients, and this is all some users may need. That more advanced users can automate inbound leads and send emails on triggers is amazing at this price point.

Hybris fits well into a large development organization and will need many disciplines to fully leverage. It should fit very well into SAP heavy environments and recent roadmaps indicate a tighter and tighter integration in the future. It would be a challenge for a smaller shop to cultivate the kind of knowledge diversity necessary. Getting the initial momentum may also be a challenge if you do not have a good implementation partner, at least in the early stages.

  • The email builder really needs an open HTML section to allow you to easily embed code in your email.

Figuring out the CMS tools took some time. Supporting documentation is sparse.I also found the tools to be slow at times, making simple template edits an arduous process.

The training sessions are very helpful, because you have specialist that is available to answer any questions, guide you and coach you on how to dominate a certain feature of the platform. That being said,Whenever I have an issue that needs to be resolved, I can send email or call a support line. I usually use the support line.

I give this an 8 instead of a 10 because in hindsight, while I am extremely happy with the platform and the things I've learned through my exposure to it, I also see so many areas for improvement in the outcome of my efforts. My advice to front end developers working with Hybris and/or the Java stack for the first time, is to not be intimidated by it. Question everything. Trust your intuition. Do not be afraid to refactor or completely replace something that appears integral to the platform if you see a clear benefit to doing so. It's much less far reaching than you think and the core system will not come crumbling to its knees if you make broad sweeping alterations. In fact, the energy you will expend to retool your site with a new framework will grow in tandem with the amount of time you spend hesitating, and at some point may become critical enough to force your hand while simultaneously becoming risky enough to destabilize your entire project delivery. If you don't like JQuery UI, punt it. If you don't care for the Blueprint CSS framework, burn it down. Making the strategic decision to adopt the toolset that best fits your organization from the very beginning will pay off in spades.

Alternatives Considered

Agile CRM did most of what PipeDrive did, some of what Hubspot does, and a range of other stuff that I was starry eyed about at the outset. but I eventually concluded that a jack-of-all-trades was not what i was looking for. And while the support team tried, they didn't have English as their first language and weren't on my time zone so all those factors conspired to turn me off on the end.

In terms of price is not comparable with Open Source platforms, but not in capabilities, functionality, security, customization and many other things either. I use this system for different clients, and I can assure you that every project has his right solution. Sometimes SAP Hybris is the best, and sometimes small systems are right for you. In terms of other big systems, I can tell you that if you have SAP ERP / S4HANA there is no other E-commerce Platform that you can consider, and if you don't have SAP ERP / S4HANA there is a lot of chance that you would choose SAP Hybris over other systems.

This products Starts with a free Limited version. You can upgradeTo an affordable paid version with minimal features. There's also an enterprise version which is what I have. It's much more expensive, however it allows me to access the full range of features available.
