Agile CRM

Agile CRM is well suited if an existing customer business process is defined or drafted thoroughly. Agile allowed automating workflows and marketing to improve lead management and suppress tedious tasks so users can focus on more important matters. However, Agile CRM costs can increase significantly if you want additional features and customizations. If you know what you're doing with CRMs and marketing automation or customer contracts and management then AgileCRM is worth a try.

If you really do a lot of retainer type billing it may be an issue for you. But, if you bill time and materials or flat fees for products and services it should be fine.If you use Google Apps fully WORKetc is a great tool. I know it works with other email solutions but the GApps integration is outstanding.If your team is spread out in multiple locations, the management tools keep things moving. It works fine if you are all in one room but it really shines if you don't work in the same physical location.If you don't like working in the cloud and what that entails you will have a problem with it. But, if you fine with the cloud it has virtually no management required. If you can't be patient waiting for new features and handle the transparency they share on why things take time, you shouldn't use the tool.

  • They are continually updating and improving their product. They listen to the feedback that their users give and start working to implement them.
  • WORKetc is very fast at responding to any type of questions that you might have. Even if someone doesn't have the answer, they get back to you right away and let you know that they are working to find you a solution/answer. Such amazing customer service!
  • Their product is great at helping us organize all areas of our company. For sales, we are able to pull lists for various leads and contacts quickly and accurately. We are also able to see all of our leads, where they are at in the sales process, if they are high risk and also keep them updated with their features of "last contacted" and "follow up" dates. For our project managers they are able to create a project for each of our engagements and communities that keeps them on track, creates the proper todo's and they are available to be duplicated so we don't have to start from scratch for each engagement or community.

  • I am hesitant to sync contacts between Gapps and WORKetc. I played with it a bit and found it confusing. I can see what the intent is but think the feature could be a bit more intuitive.

We already renewed and are in the process of executing a yearly contract. We tried all other major CRM systems and found them lacking. WORKetc has the potential to almost perfectly meet all of our business management needs - NOT JUST CRM - but also creating quotes, managing projects and events, billing and producing reports

The training sessions are very helpful, because you have specialist that is available to answer any questions, guide you and coach you on how to dominate a certain feature of the platform. That being said,Whenever I have an issue that needs to be resolved, I can send email or call a support line. I usually use the support line.

They load quickly. Recently I have had an issue ( I still have) where when I click on the WE logo in Google mail there is a step between. That is an error. Needs to be picked up. Will report to support.

Each section of the AgileCRM platform has an instructional video that describes in detail all of the features of that section. I found this to be very instructional way to learn about each section. Whenever I had more questions, I could always schedule a conference call with a tutor..

The implementation of the system was fairly easy. Because of our previous experience with a similar system, we were ready and working on the product as soon as we announced the switch. The system also allowed us to simplify our processes by integrating timesheets and project management directly into our CMS.

Alternatives Considered

Saleforce - Too expensive.SugarCRM - Versatile. Free. But Slow.Filemaker - Originally designed my own CRMWhich gave me full control of all functionality. But having an online system that is hosted in the cloud provides considerable advantages particularly when allowing access to remote users.

This products Starts with a free Limited version. You can upgradeTo an affordable paid version with minimal features. There's also an enterprise version which is what I have. It's much more expensive, however it allows me to access the full range of features available.

Return on Investment

  • Helped business because there was a better understanding of the size and profiles of my leads
  • Negative impact - leads were labeled as hard bounce and couldn't send until a lead was deleted and added again. VERY time consuming. Luckily this doesn't happen much.
  • Negative impact - Fake leads are added on a daily basis. AgileCRM doesn't have a double confirmation of added leads. But I believe this is normal in many CRMs and can be managed.
