Chose Amazon Chime
They are all good products, but here is why we switched:

1. UberConf. This was the first conference software we used. It used to be great, it actually had a free version that worked perfectly. Then the service started to falter, mostly lag time between user and presenter. And …
Chose Amazon Chime
I believe the two products (Slack and Skype) are better suited for the situations where it is a smaller crowd. This is due to those systems being easier to chat within and collaborate in the smaller environment.
Chose Amazon Chime
Better than Skype for Business in terms of loading the application onto your device. Skype had crashing issues always and those are comparatively low when using Amazon Chime. Amazon chime is fast and easy to work with while collaborating and setting up meetings. The audio and …
Chose Amazon Chime
Amazon's Chime is lightweight and has easy integrations with Slack. Cloud Trail has good call reports, doesn't take time to load compared to other products that I have tried. Its APIs exposed by Amazon are really helpful to customize. The shift from one user to another for …
Chose Amazon Chime
Amazon Chime product stacks up pretty much equal to the other pieces of software that we have used in the past. What drives the use of the software over the others is purely preference. My team has adapted to using this software, and now it has become what they would rather …

I believe Amazon Chime is better, easier to use, and had better quality video/audio
Chose Amazon Chime
Chime and Biba are interchangeable to me, both accomplish the same task. We have transitioned to Chime as it was created by Amazon and we support Amazon, so it was an easy decision for us. I do enjoy Chime more as it just seems to work effortlessly. I would recommend it to all.
RingEX
Chose RingEX
I have used Skype with a fixed phone number for many years. Skype works across all platforms and rings all platforms at the same time. There is no limit to the number of devices that can be connect to a Skype account. RingEX has a limit of two soft phone connections per phone …
Chose RingEX
RingEX has a better and more complete integration with our current work space. Other platforms do similar things, but RingEX is able to combine and replace a number of different application so everything is in one. Skype only allowed for phone calls to be forwards and not made …
Chose RingEX
I use RingEX almost exclusively for calls and have never used its video features but I think the audio quality and features are better than Teams. I have been using Skype for over 20 years and Webex for over 10 years, so I am more familiar with these platforms for meetings that …
Chose RingEX
We are using these products like (Skype, Voip, TextNow, and Second line), but comparatively these products the RingEX has a good performance, because while we were using the other platform, we didn't get proper communication, we couldn't reach out the candidate, we lags to much …
Chose RingEX
From the user perspective, JustCall and Aircall gave you the ability to listen to the recorded call. RingEX's taking notes feature is great, just not 100% accurate. Therefore, I would say having the ability to access the recording calls in the user interface can be very useful. …

They try to provide a service and product that RingEX does so smooth and well. Competitors could learn a lot by studying what RC is doing.
Chose RingEX
I have used and checked the following systems (excluding the ones mentioned above): Fenero, Vicidial, Google Hangout, etc. (can't remember all of them). RingEX is by far superior. None can match it. The RingEX provides a Chrome extension so that you can click and call. It has a …
Chose RingEX
It had all what we wanted in a caller. The prices were reasonable and the service had been more or less at par. Never had a major issue with them and the call drops which we had couple of times were rectified within minutes so kudos to their support team.
Chose RingEX
RingEX was more affordable than Slack and Zoom for a comparable service. We eventually switched from RingEX to Zoom and Slack which was an executive choice that was deemed frivolous and unnecessary. There are definitely added bells and whistles to Slack and Zoom, but …
Chose RingEX
I use RingEX since it's the company provided solution.
Chose RingEX
In my experience, I think RingEX has been the largest overarching communication software I've used. For good or bad, it's also made me a lot more accessible both to my colleagues and clients. I also think it offers better communication quality and ease of use than the other …

Amazon Chime is well suited for online video and audio meetings, IMs, and conducting training sessions using a whiteboard. It can be integrated well with Google Calendar and Microsoft outlook. With Amazon Chime mobile app you can attend meetings on the go as well. Meetings can be locked so that only legitimate participants can join the meeting. Amazon Chime is less suited in case you want meeting transcripts as well for your meetings. Given that Amazon Chime is not used by a larger audience so your client or customer may face some difficulties in join the meeting or accessing some of the features of the Chime.

RingCentral
RingCentral is generally good for business calls, as its mobile features, combined with landline office options, are great for communication on the go. It is also an affordable option to have a mobile cellular device if you have a lot of staff. Setup especially for multilevel authorization can be a hassle but it works well if well set up, you would have to get help in rectifying this if not calls might be redirected to the wrong extensions and changing it is not very straight forward.

Having interacted with a new replacement tool, Microsoft Teams, it is challenging to recommend Skype, as it lacks some essential features, such as being less equipped with the latest updates, and it is not platform-independent, causing issues on PCs and phones, as well as during calls that might hinder work.

  • Chat and Messaging - Conversations are easy to search, topics can be pinned or bookmarked, and groups are easy to create and administer.
  • Phone - The core functionality works very well allowing voice, txt/sms, and faxing for all users. Administration is generally fairly easy as well.
  • Mobile Client - the mobile app offers all of the same functionality as the desktop or web client.
  • Video - Video calls make it easy to share screens with other users and includes a lot of tools for planning.

  • The instant chat function is great. Very straightforward, easy to use, easy to learn, no technical issues.
  • Video calls are pretty easy also, user friendly and a mostly stable connection with no issues.

Cons
Amazon AWS
  • More simplified dial-in numbers. The PIN for our conference line is long and easy to mistype.
  • You do not have to download the Chime app in order to join a conference, but if you want to do anything beyond join (schedule a conference, participate in a group chat, control participants), you have to have the app downloaded and installed. The app that you have to download in order to launch a conference is a memory hog, and slows down a computer's boot up time.
  • The add-in for Microsoft Outlook is particularly clunky. It helps you add scheduled conference calls/video conferences to your Outlook calendar, but it can cause Outlook to crash, and creates a really slow open time for Outlook. If you can avoid downloading the Outlook Add-In, I would.
  • No built-in screen sharing capabilities.

  • We can use the RingEx in our Mobile to use for Basic calls and messages, but sometimes the mobile application lags or disconnects while using video calls or screen sharing.
  • we can easily configure in our laptops.

Skype is not as good as Facetime in terms of ease to glance at it and figure out how it works. I think that's a result of Skype trying to be too many things at once. A lot of the menu and UI could be streamlined, and I would jettison some of the additional functions that have been tacked on over the years to simplify. That being said, while some options are slightly hard to find, they all work flawlessly once found.

Call-in support is fantastic. I have never called in and had it taken more than 30 minutes to resolve our issue. Email support is terrible. You will likely go 24+ hours until you hear back and the response is likely a canned one. I personally prefer the email or chat support option, but find myself calling instead because the email support experience is so poor.

I am not aware of the current support level for Skype for business, as I have never used even though I have the product. However, the support for Skype's personal paid users is not where it could be. Users who pay for Skype features do not have a clear path to reach out to support. So, rating 6, can be better as soon as I need to use Skype for business support and get a good experience. I will say that I will renew Skype for Business subscription, which is a significant inconsistency on my end. The explanation is that Skype for Business comes bundled with Office for Business, with no additional cost, so why not.

If someone has an existing system I tell them to keep that running initially and keep RingEX separate initially until the system is configured and tested to one's satisfaction. After testing and configuration is completed, then roll over the main phone numbers to the new RingEX system. I've seen one person who immediately flipped over to RingEX without properly configuring/testing the software and had many issues with missed customer calls until I helped him sort out his configuration.

  • The positive ROI is Amazon Chime helps make our sales reps more professional in their calls leading to an increase in closed/won deals.

  • Enhanced patient accountability, we can track all calls - incoming and outgoing - patients tend to state that they called and left a message, but they either never called or did not leave a message. With RingEX, we can track whether they really did. It saves us quite a bit of time and aggravation.
  • Faxing is more accurate and usually very quick. Because it's accurate, it saves us time with phone calls about faxes we never received and having to refax items. Also, faxing via the system instead of printing and scanning is a time-saver.
