    [Ivanti Security Controls] is a lot easier to use over Microsoft SCCM if you just want an application for patch deployment. Easy to setup, great support. You can get the base install and testing completed within hours vs SCCM that takes weeks to understand. It has a lot of 3rd party applications support for patching built right in. You don't need another add-on for this functionality. If you want to deploy large applications or have a huge number of endpoints with agents. The grouping configuration needs to be changed to match the same type of setup that agentless uses. This would make the product 10 times better. A few more base reports would be great vs making a custom. SCCM has them a lot more pre-configured reports out of the box.

    • A large 3rd party patching inventory.
    • Easy to navigate and troubleshoot.

    • Better search in the application control configuration
    • User rights management for modern user interface settings dialog.
    • For patching, a more intuitive console. Some features are hidden or not easy to find for users who are accessing the console for the first time.

    Isec covers a much larger vendor base than SCCM did for us. It's also much more automated and flexible than SCCM ever was.

    • It does everything that expected. No issue with product.
    • Great support if you have any questions. Very knowledgeable.
    • The only negative impact would be that it can't deploy windows OS updates. eg. going from Window 10 version 1903 to a newer version. It just can'
    • t do it. We have to use SCCM for that so we can't get rid of SCCM due to that reason.
