In terms of support and services. Their product is competitively less expensive but the availability of data can not be compromised due to lack of support and services. Druva's OEM support makes it unique and top of the line.
It was all about cost and ease of mgmt in choosing Druva over Code42. Druva does have a greater feature set but we don't necessarily take advantage of all the capabilities.
We were on Mozy Pro before they were bought out by Carbonite. Being a non-profit, we were able to get pretty pricing through Druva, which was our #1 determining factor for purchasing a solution.
Admittedly it has been a while since I utilized the Symantec endpoint protection product at another company. It was cumbersome and not user friendly. Druva is easy to deploy, stays mostly invisible to the end user but is easy to use if they need to make changes or restore data.
