Likelihood to Recommend Although it is an extremely diverse platform with many use cases, I have found it best suited to creating a message based on a specific marketing strategy and being able to reach people at scale. While it offers adequate CRM functionality in most cases, if you are needing a more robust CRM it might not have the functionality you need.
Read full review From simple streaming to bigger events, OBS has been able to handle all of it with full confidence from us. Have never questioned if it was going to be unreliable in a specific situation, even with minimal training. Software identified the external input source easily and had no issues setting that up (Blackmagic Mini Recorder), and great for pulling in separate audio from the computer input.
Read full review Pros Very simple to use. When I'm considering a new tool, it has to make my day easier. Not add frustration to my day. Includes personal branding in multiple places. I really like the Presets. Before I realized presets were an option, I was spending an additional time adding CTAs. Now I have presets for each category. And I can add specific videos to each preset. Read full review RTMP Streaming with customizable bitrate Scene Composition and Switching + source control which allows for creators and our customers to move between different types of content they might have (different video feeds, slides etc) Audio mixer and audio control - noise gating, a/v syncing, audio source control Read full review Cons I don't see how we can easily change the order in which videos are displayed on a showcase. It seems to default to the order in which the videos were uploaded, from oldest to most recent. That being said, I have not brought this up to the Dubb team yet; usually if something makes sense and can be done, the Dubb team figures out how to make it happen. Read full review OBS can be a little clunky sometimes, the lots of features can be a bit overwhelming I can multitask with it, but can't run heavy software like Premiere alongside it No way to make adjustments to file after it's done, have to use After Effects or Premiere for that Read full review Likelihood to Renew It's our favorite tool. It continues to get better. It gives us the opportunity to make a passive income for an outstanding product. It makes marketing fun and much easier since talking is much easier and more enjoyable than writing is. Plus the open rate is through the roof. In a world that has become almost completely virtual, it allows us to give a personal, in-person touch.
Read full review Usability In 1987 I fell 3 stories and was in rehabilitation and surgeries for 2 years. I broke my arm and type with one finger on my right hand. I love that I can do so much with a video quickly than I can with typing. I still type plenty, however, if I can launch DUbb and record a video I will if I have a choice. Easy to use and makes a huge difference in my life. It's the one solution that has made the most impact on my life as far as my business is concerned
Read full review Very usable because it is free and has had a lot of people helping to suggest improvements and sponsors have allowed the product to grow in sophistication and suitability across a variety of situations and use needs. It is very logical to use once you get started, although the dashboard can seem intimidating at first.
Read full review Support Rating They have three webinars a week for onboarding and Q&A purposes! They have a very active Facebook group, they are very active on email sending quality content for the growth of your initiatives. Only for support, I would get started all over with them
Read full review For a free product, a range of support is available. There are plenty of ways to find out answers to questions, because there are probably thousands of people using the product who are willing to share what they have learned. It usually works as designed, so needs for support are limited.
Read full review Alternatives Considered Can't recall if Bonboro was the name but I don't think they're still around. They platform looked like something for children, like a play app. It was not professional so I did not risk even testing it. Dubb's reviews were from solid entrepreneurs not idiots.
Read full review I have also used TinyTake by Mango Apps and I prefer OBS studio because the video quality results are better and OBS allows you to record an unlimited length of the video. OBS also lets you record an entire screen instead of manually having to draw your parameters, which can create oddly sizes videos if you miss by a few pixels.
Read full review Return on Investment I've had challenges with screen recording. In my experience, the audio has cut out numerous times, which results in re-watching my video (which takes time) to see where the audio cuts out and then having to re-record (which takes more time too). I now use a different platform for screen recording because of this experience. Read full review It was great to have a platform that is free that I can experiment with without having to use our business capital on. It took time to learn, but it helped me understand a lot of things, so it was a great learning experience. It was a great balance of cost and time with the high-quality product we got from it.
