I think that it's excellent for any company, mainly growing and scaling up start-ups. For smaller startups, it can be kind of complicated in terms of cost, but if any company could invest in it, I suggest they do it.

It is a great solution for small to medium-sized businesses. It is fairly customizable, and their support team has been great to work with us. They have helped us build some custom workflows to push a customer straight to a credit card page once they sign the proposal. This has really helped increase conversions when signing on a new customer.

  • Call brief summary: concise and clear overview of the call for the users' benefits but also for anybody interested in the account or getting a quick overview of the purpose of the call
  • Call insights: AI component allows you to improve your efficiency (write up summary, follow-up emails, etc.) and also gives you an overview of the account based on historical communication, helps you identify potential risks, gaps, opportunities, gives you an estimate of the likelihood of a deal to close
  • Trackers: improve your learning, your insights, save majors time when looking for specific insights for learning or market understanding

  • Ensure that you stop a call after finished, versus staying on the zoom for the next client call, so you can separate the two
  • automatically create tasks or to do lists within CRM
  • have the ability to capture a call even when you are not the organizer

  • The user interface is not intuitive and you'll need some time to understand where things are.
  • The structure of the proposals is sort of rigid and is difficult to create really beautiful documents (unless you are a genius designer).

It’s a unique and automated way to improve your sales process while keeping your sales team sharp with real-time feedback. It’s amazing for call centers with a lot of users. Gong helps centralize sales functions and gives managers more control over the process and conversations. Highlighting key points that are usually missed in conversation and deal management.

Our reps preferred Gong; they were more familiar with it and found it easier to use. Gong was more expensive by far, and there were many more affordable options on the market, but at the time, we also considered switching costs and decided to stay with Gong. The mobile app was also a factor in this decision.

I didn't choose Proposable over DocuSign, but I did use it at a previous company. Proposable is great for the smaller business and makes the creation and sending of agreements so easy! DocuSign was nice, but it was more complex in my experience and created a bottleneck for our sales team to get approval. I'm sure this was more of our own internal process, but between the two, Proposable was much faster to get what you needed in the form of an agreement. Less time freed up more time for selling!
