Considered Multiple Products
GoTo Connect
Chose GoTo Connect
GoTo Meeting is a good alternative to Zoom for video conferencing. Quite affordable per month and allows screen sharing features that we need for our specific workflow. It is our preference for video calls and is always what we use when asked by clients to initiate a video …
Chose GoTo Connect
The admin interface in GoTo Connect feels much simpler and faster to configure. It offers right balance of reliability, clean UI, and flexibility.
Chose GoTo Connect
GoTo Connect struck the right balance between functionality, simplicity, and cost.
Chose GoTo Connect
Much more reasonable and equally reliable
Chose GoTo Connect
Honestly, we still need to use LogMeIn Rescue because of differences in use cases, and GoTo Meetings leaves a lot to be desired if you are trying to demonstrate how to use different features of Windows or Apple products.
Chose GoTo Connect
I would say rank GoTo in this order from my list above

Chose GoTo Connect
GoTo Connect is ranked at the top of the market options. Surely the best option for small and medium size companies accross the Americas region
Chose GoTo Connect
I find both of these options more modern and easier to use. These options also integrate more easily into our urrent workflow and provide more timely updates. These options feel like they are focused on being able to integrate into smaller organizations an not as focused on …
Chose GoTo Connect
It is similar. If GoTo Connect can give admin access to check phone messages of employees out of the office without needing a password it would make it much better. Also, if meetings can be accessed by the participant without downloading anything it would surpass zoom usage.
Chose GoTo Connect
It was hosted by the vendor so I didn't have a choice for which forum we would use for our meeting
Chose GoTo Connect
It just simplifies all the best parts of other platforms and makes them so easy to use they are almost enjoyable. Staff like that they can seamlessly go from a phone call via their computer to joining a meeting from the same seat - zero travel which has cut down our …
Chose GoTo Connect
We consider the GoTo family of products that we use to be one and the same - we use them interchangeably.
Chose GoTo Connect
GoTo Connect has always been the biggest and most reliable company in my experience. I didn't use another program but with GoTo Connect with their massive IP, I couldn't see myself going anywhere else. I knew they would be a reliable company given the overall size of the …
Chose GoTo Connect
Some of our offices had dedicated, on-premise Avaya PBX before we moved to GoToConnect. I found Avaya difficult to configure, troubleshoot and maintain. That is all a thing of the past now that we are on GoToConnect. I would never go back to a traditional phone system after …
Chose GoTo Connect
We initially looked at Skype for business as it seemed to be the most popular use for many companies. However, it did not fit in out budget and we were looking for something right for our team. There are some collaboration things that are available in Skype that we don't really …
GoTo Meeting
Chose GoTo Meeting
GoTo Connect is a great product with an All in one solution. We are evaluating it in our organization and hope to roll it out
Chose GoTo Meeting
Goto Meeting and GoTo Connect are part of the same umbrella so they complement one another to provide audio only phone lines for multiple users/stations in a company as well as video conferencing for use with outside clients. Zoom is very ubiquitous but Goto Meeting works just …
Chose GoTo Meeting
GoTo Assist is by far the easiest solution to use in regards to simplicity and functionality, especially for the end user receiving support. But we have recently consolidated all 5 of our GoTo products (Meeting, Connect, Assist, Resolve and Webinar) into two just offerings now: …
Chose GoTo Meeting
GoTo Meeting has feature parity with Zoom Workplace in terms of setting up and hosting web meetings.
Chose GoTo Meeting
Our CIO made the decision - all the products work well. He travels a lot and preferred the GoTo Meeting mobile app over the other applications' mobile capability. The cost basis was similar to both Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Our users had familiarity with GoTo Meeting which …
Chose GoTo Meeting
GoTo Meeting was more affordable and easier to implement than these options.
Chose GoTo Meeting
At first, I never thought that this platform is existing because I have been exposed to different platform before, not until I was employed in my current company and I can say that it helps me to communicate with my colleague . If there's an urgent concern regarding the task, I …
Chose GoTo Meeting
Zoom is my preferred meeting product. It is easy to use, integrates with my systems, and allows me to easily connect with even the most non-techy of my clients.
Chose GoTo Meeting
For meetings, it stacks reasonably well, although pricey for larger firms.
Chose GoTo Meeting
GoTo Meeting's privacy, security, and hacking protection are much better than Zoom. Aside from that, Zoom also gave us too many technical issues using it and we didn't feel comfortable hosting important meetings or conducting interviews while worrying that some random person …
Chose GoTo Meeting
We value GoTo Meeting’s consistent performance. There are fewer technical issues throughout the meetings. One reason to select GoTo is the user-friendly and self-explanatory interface. The seamless calendar integration keeps our meetings organized and ensures that all …
Chose GoTo Meeting
From a standard meeting perspective GoTo Meeting is on par with all of these offerings. From a classroom perspective Zoom offers the most comprehensive set of tools for the educator. Tools like switching the chat from private to public at the presenter's level is excellent to …
Chose GoTo Meeting
We use Zoom for the entire organization because it’s far more cost effective. But, my role as training manager requires my use of GTM to allow all the required features that make my training sessions the most productive. I would always prefer to use GTM over Zoom because the …
Chose GoTo Meeting
In my opinion, it is not as efficient, and we are much more used to using the Teams commands over the GoTo commands and actions. The learning curve was quick, and I do not know if transcribe is an option in GoTo like in Teams, which makes sharing calls very helpful.
Chose GoTo Meeting
It's has similar features but works very well for my organisation and have easy UI so my order client can also use it more effectively
Chose GoTo Meeting
When exploring virtual meeting solutions, we evaluated alternatives such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams. GoTo Meeting stood out for its user-friendly interface, robust features, and a reputation for reliability, making it the preferred choice for our organization's diverse virtual …
Chose GoTo Meeting
I am end user. GoTo Meeting helped to remote sharing with on low bandwidths. The audio quality is better when we have low bandwidths and from Mobile data. Our OEM provides GoTo Meeting to attend their webinars, trainings and support assistance.
Chose GoTo Meeting

Chose GoTo Meeting
It is excellent. It has also introduced a recording option. Very user-friendly. Google Meet is very easy to use and doesn't require any special setup. All you need is a Google account, and you can start a meeting with just a few clicks. With Google Meet, you can share your …
Chose GoTo Meeting
GoTo Meeting is more affordable than Zoom and seems more reliable and easy to use, especially for novices. Zoom has become very widespread, and our employer has pushed for us to use it more, but many of us continue to use GoTo Meeting due to the easy interface and familiarity.
Zoom Workplace
Chose Zoom Workplace
I think that Zoom and Webex are by far the two strongest in this industry and the features are similar. I think the capabilities are far superior to what you find with GoToMeeting and Blackboard Collaborate. I chose Zoom over the others for this specific group of users …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom's more cost-effective compared to the competitors. Initially, Zoom also offers a free option for the first 40 minutes of use. Zoom is easier to install and implement compared to other competitors. Even Microsoft Teams offers a Zoom plug-in to allow for Teams to access …
Chose Zoom Workplace

Chose Zoom Workplace
i find Zoom Workplace comparable to GoTo Meeting in most aspects. i find zoom superior to LogMeIn and Teams for taking control of client computers - it's support of shortcuts is perfect, while the other products don't handle shortcuts correctly - they fire the shortcut on your …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom Workplace was in place before we had Microsoft Teams, so it was grandfathered in.
But when comparing Zoom Workplace to meetings features in our various phone systems over the years, as well as meeting platforms like UberConference, gotomeeting and MS Teams - I think Zoom …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Going to the meeting was more difficult for the external stakeholders. Zoom allowed people outside of our org to easily join a meeting without forcing them to download anything.
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom Workplace is a one-stop shop for conferencing and phone needs--and with Zoom being a global name in the industry, there is no bounds to its reach and compatibility. Simply put, it just works, and Zoom's plan offerings are a steal in comparison to purchasing separate …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom Workplace is superior in my opinion. It is the best for training clients and allows for annotation. Teams does not allow you to annotate and that makes it VERY hard to direct someone where to go on a screen.
Chose Zoom Workplace
Features are more roboust.
The price is comparable based on the features.
Integration has more options. SOme of the competitors just limit you to their software/products only.
Chose Zoom Workplace
I think Zoom Workplace is more widely adopted and familiar to our partners that we meet with. It's interface and quality of calls seems superior.
Chose Zoom Workplace
We are going into Zoom Phone it is economically a better option, and it allows us to consolidate into one system.
Chose Zoom Workplace
While Slack is nice, I wanted a more all-in-one solution. We almost went with Teams, as we are Microsoft Office users, but it was too clunky and error-prone, and we were concerned our users wouldn't be able to learn and use it well. User adoption was a top concern, so we …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom Workplace's ease of annotation and ability to easily screen share has been the clear divider for us.
Chose Zoom Workplace
Simple to use - which is a must.
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom is the only one that just works. No need for technical support. We can simply conduct our business.
Chose Zoom Workplace
Honestly not sure why someone would choose one over the other. I was told by my company that all client meetings need to be done on Zoom. They said internal can be conducted on Google Meet. All 3 applications are extremely similar.
Chose Zoom Workplace
Compared to its competitors, Zoom is more cost-effective, as well as simpler to install and use. It's also more reliable, as Google Meet's call quality has been poor for meetings larger than one-on-one. Even Microsoft Teams has a Zoom plug-in for teams to use. I chose Zoom, so …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom has all the same tools and more, all for a better price. I would highly recommend Zoom!

For the price, you can't get things like remote access (where the presenter changes), have whiteboards, and everything else Zoom has to offer. The main difference beyond price is the …
Chose Zoom Workplace
I think without any doubt Zoom is an amazing application. so there was no question in choosing another product over Zoom. Most of the people use Zoom so people doesn't have to add any tool to run the application
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom and Teams both support online meetings, chats, calls, screen sharing, and file sharing, among other capabilities. The main distinction between the two is Microsoft's integration of Teams with its Office 365 suite. Zoom's ability to display up to 49 individuals on one …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom is the best enterprise level video software, especially when taking meetings with more than 5 people who are all in different locations. Zoom gives you the ability to host polls, Q&A, and a smorgasbord of other specific features that competitors don't have. The only …
Chose Zoom Workplace

Go-To softphones have made my life as an IT manager significantly easier. Being able to take calls and listen to my voicemails on both my computer and mobile phone has been a game-changer. I also cannot recommend the "drag-and-drop" dial plan management system enough. It makes the entire process as easy as programming in Visual Basic and allows you to see exactly what is happening when someone dials into a line.

I provide regular training as a big portion of my job. There is weekly training with an infinite number of users in attendance on any given date—GoTo Meeting is not the best option for this because I would have to mute users as they join the meeting. However, I also provide frequent training sessions to a small number of users that feature more individualized content, and having them able to mute/unmute at will is a better fit for a smaller group with in-depth materials.

GoTo (formerly LogMeIn)
  • I wish I could use the speed dials from my phone on the apps

  • We occasionally experience slow performance during screen sharing.
  • The help center should have detailed tutorials on commonly asked FAQs and also to initially set up the profile.

They are knocking it out of the park on all fronts. I love the service and support I am receiving and have no complaints. Usability
GoTo (formerly LogMeIn)
Overall, it's a decent product for the price. It has the basic features our company needed when it was brand new and was not overly difficult to set up. As we've grown, it's become increasingly difficult to build out the features we want to implement within the PBX, and customer support can be less than helpful. Many of the more advanced features (dial plans, queues, etc.) take a lot of research to understand how to implement. Some of the features we paid for weren't even available when we were attempting to set them up.

The simplicity of GoToMeetings desktop, mobile, and web-based applications make it a very robust and user-friendly meeting solution. At times, it may be more complex than needed, but it is nice to have so many features that can be used if needed. Once installed, it is very easy to use and navigate.

There is no lag in phone calls. There is no background noise or static/fuzz. Calls are crystal clear. With other dialers and phone systems, I have experienced delays between dialogue or delays with the caller picking up the phone and then being able to hear you. Zoom has among the best performance of any video conference platform, as I've mentioned several times. Besides that, their Chat platform works great, and their back end always runs smooth. It's unfortunate that reporting can now only be done by one month at a time, but nonetheless, it only takes a second to run any kind of Zoom report, whether it's an attendee report, Poll results, a user report, a list of meetings from the past month, etc.

Support Rating
GoTo (formerly LogMeIn)
One of the MOST challenging things in tech support is that some of the offshore agents "don't speak Texan/English", and are really hard to understand. GoTo Connect's support is usually someone who is VERY easy to understand their US/English, and are very helpful. In dozens of interactions for our business & our clients, we've only had a few tickets that couldn't be resolved on the first call

When we have issues, they seem to respond quickly and do everything they can to help us. They have even tried to find other ways we could get more use out of their product, or improve the way we are currently using it. Overall, their support has been fairly good for us.

Because I got a response right away, and was assigned one specific individual to work with me from the beginning to the resolution. I had an actual email address and direct contact with this person without having to start over and over every time I contacted Zoom - this singular individual remained attentive and was well informed on the subject matter and quite able to resolve my needs.

Online Training

The training videos could be more in-depth. This would help our user base so that they can feel impowered to look up information that they need without having to ask our admins every time they have a question about the system. Online training videos are also inferior to an actual person explaining systems.

Implementation Rating
GoTo (formerly LogMeIn)
One big lesson we learned is that training the team well makes a huge difference. It was easier when we started with the fundamental features, such as the way calls are handled. Getting staff involved early helped us set it up the right way. So I would say my experience with implementation was straightforward.

Alternatives Considered
GoTo (formerly LogMeIn)
Avaya IP Office was for us a complicated and inflexible on-prem solution. It could be made to do a great many things similar to GoTo, however it was not flexible and scalable in the same way as GoTo, which is to be expected of a cloud solution. In particular, as we aimed to build out a contact center, IP office could not do it in a work-from-anywhere environment, and the softphone provided almost no information to the agent. GoTo solved all of the problems we were encountering with IP office, with the added benefit of not needing continously upgrading licensing - as GoTo is a one-license solution.

Many times, it seems like GoTo Meeting requires less bandwidth to run. We noticed with a few test machines that if you have over twenty video streams, this product could handle the load better than if we used Microsoft Teams and had many video streams.

Zoom
Teams do not stack up to Zoom at all. My clients use Teamas because it is a corporate policy, and they use it most of the time between employees of the same company. It makes sense for this, NOT for me. Every time a Teams meeting is launched, since I am not part of this company, the meeting is laborious, the interface is not as nice as Zoom's, sharing documents is more difficult, etc., etc. Zoom is superior to Teams in every way!!!

Zoom
The billing and price model is really fair for so many functions that they offer, our remote work requires each of the features that Zoom offers, so accepting payment for a tool like this is the least we can do. I like that billing arrives on time and that they offer opportunities and payment times.

Scalability
GoTo (formerly LogMeIn)
Its not readily apparent to me, other than cost, where you would run into any issues with larger scale deployments. When we went live on the product, the Jive team was always willing to do mass updates for us on our extensions, users, etc. in the system, so we didn't have to do too much manual one-by-one updates.

Because the Basic licenses are completely free, and because it's very easy to configure and install Zoom, and because anyone can join Zoom from a link without needing an account, scaling is a Breeze. There are absolutely no roadblocks. My company keeps adding more Zoom Pro license every week since it's so in demand. We were able to convert users from several different platforms onto Zoom with no trouble at all.

Zoom is perfect for our business. We use it to video chat with prospective clients. The name recognition alone gives us credibility and it is very easy to screen share and send content out.

Return on Investment
GoTo (formerly LogMeIn)
  • Cost Savings have been realized from reducing hardware .
  • We are all able to collaborate remotely and it has been seamless and easy to setup.
  • I'm able to pull reports, i wish there was improvement on the data analysis side. It has gotten better since LogMeIn, but something is a miss and can be improved.

  • Any collaboration app these days are now a great addition for those organizations which have more than one office and they need to collaborate with each other.
  • GoTo Meeting can contribute to cost savings by reducing the need for extensive travel, accommodation, and related expenses associated with in-person meetings especially in case like us as we have multiple branches.

  • We are still early in our adoption of Zoom Workplace for business, so we don't really have any data to show cost savings.
  • The ability to take a call summary or meeting summary and add it to our practice management system have been remarkable. It's a quick copy/paste and it's in the system. Prior to this, we would have to scan in notes and save them into the system, if it even got that far. Mostly, attorneys would be searching through legal pads for the notes of a previous meeting or phone call.
