Read full review I have experience with Watchguard Endpoint Security (EPDR) with small companies of five or more endpoints to large companies with hundreds of endpoints and find it well-suited for both types and everything in between. However, it is particularly good for companies with lean IT departments due to the awesomely automated and intelligent tools it provides for quick investigation and response. Also, its automated white list approval process for unknown executables is extremely fast thereby reducing and sometimes even eliminating delays that could impair employee performance.
Read full review Pros It has predominantly protected us from unauthorized parties and has provided us with better visibility and control over our data. This software has also successfully prevented us from both malicious and accidental tasks, which are quite flexible actions when it comes to the violation of data loss prevention policies. This product has been successful in improving compliance and even mitigating compliance violations, which further facilitated IT security. I think there is room for improvement, as the user interface is slightly rough and difficult to adopt in the beginning. The software also hangs up at a few instances, which leads to some wasting of time and annoyance, but other than that, this software is good. The technical staff should work on the complexities for a better user experience. Read full review Centralized management makes monitoring simple. Deployment is quick, easy, and automatable. Zero Trust means exactly that - if a process is not KNOWN to be safe, it is blocked until evaluated. IT managers can block or grant authority to override the automatic protection in case of the immediate need to allow a process known to be safe. Read full review Cons Forcepoint technical support--specially for users who go with essential support--is challenging to get support on time. You need the ticket to be raised long beforehand to get support from TAC. However, in the case of enterprise support, its is not like this technical person will come on a priority basis. However it comes with higher prices, especially for SMB, it is allowed to pay that amount for support only. Read full review As with any application of this nature, it can block processes or other suspected security risks that are actually safe. While easy to use, it sometimes provides less learning opportunities for less experienced staff who are not as well-versed in these applications. Read full review Likelihood to Renew We have been fairly happy with the product and how it has worked. We have looked at other vendors for url filter and such and have not found one that meets our needs or does what we have been doing with Websense. The product has been fairly stable and we have only had a few issues in the past. We have all seen that it was one of the highest leaders from the Gartner Group Magic Quadrant for Web Gateways.

Read full review Easy and intuitive MSP management portal to manage all of your clients from a single pane of glass. Policies can be pushed down globally or individually based on needs. The client portal allows access to their tenant information and installs only which is nice if you are working with clients who might have an internal person or an IT team that also wants access to things to manage themself.
Read full review Reliability and Availability The software is 100% managed on a cloud platform that can be managed via an account even if they are not present within the company network where the software is installed, I even always opened the control panel on the browser of my smartphone to monitor the situation.I have never experienced any abnormal software crashes
Read full review Performance The only annoyance I complain, if we want to be picky, is the fact of the constant disconnections from the control panel.Every about 4 hours the account logs out even if I set the "remember this device" flag; having said that I have not noticed neither slowdowns nor conflicts with other software
Read full review Support Rating Support from Forcepoint has been lacking. When calling in with a high priority issue we rarely are able to work with a technician immediately. The queue waits are very long and when you get through there are no support engineers available and we need to wait for a call back for hours it seems.
Read full review I gave it a 10 because I compare it to air conditioning. I need it to work every day, 24/7. I need it to be reliable and not something that requires a ton of interaction from staff to make sure it works every day. In addition, I should be able to run other things at my house when the AC is on. Panda fits that description.

Read full review Implementation Rating The software goes manually on a PC only on the company network and then proceeds through that PC to install the software on all the other clients through the control panel where all the clients / servers on the network are detected with extreme speed and ease of execution, even for uninstallation and remote control over scans
Read full review Alternatives Considered User friendly solution that makes it easy to deploy and manage. Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention very effective to protecting our valuable data on endpoints and where data lives like in the Cloud, server and on-premises disk drives and its valuable to just set policies once and start utilizing Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention solution.
Read full review Very similar. I feel like Watchguard need to get a better foothold with people trusting the name in the endpoint space. It has pretty much everything S 1 does but it also provides so much more. Simple things like patch management and encryption are fantastic adding that deliver true security value
Read full review Scalability With the implementation of watchguard (at the beginning Panda Endpoint, but it is the same) I was able to insert in the control panel all the unauthorized software previously installed by colleagues without any authorization from the various department heads. Now any licensed software goes into lockdown and can be unlocked from the control panel
Read full review Return on Investment The exchange of financial documents with customers creates extreme risk as data loss could result in financial and reputation damage to the customer. The cost of deploying Forcepoint is fractions of pennies compared to the potential financial impact of data loss. There is some administrative overhead associated as false positives are inevitable, requiring a manual review and a potential loss of productivity. Read full review [...] The ability to make website URL and category viewing restrictions resulted in higher productive personnel and reduced the risks of infection.
