BQE Core is a really great product for time management, billing, Accounts receivable, Accounts payable, vendor billing, and project management for architectural practices. It is also very strong in supporting collaboration and management reporting as well as integration with other software that you may already be using such as Quickbooks. BQE Core is lacking in the allocation and forecasting area, especially when trying to see the big picture for capacity across the company.

ClickUp is extremely robust, so is great for companies that need to automate workflows/processes and perhaps have a lot of clients with various service lines. It is perfect for our company where this is the case. It is likely too much for smaller companies with not many clients or employees that require visibility and workflows.
Read full review Pros Invoice Collections within Billing is a great tool because of the ability to take notes and track contact. Invoices are professional looking and easy for our clients to understand the overall progress within each phase of their project. Dashboards are the best tool EVER! The Contact List feature within Clients setup is the perfect way to track multiple project managers within a large company that also has multiple contracts with us. Read full review You can easily link task boards to specific accounts and teams. ClickUp helps to track time that any one of us have spent servicing a client's account We can upload documents, images, and more to the tasks itself to pain a very clear picture of the work we've done or the request we are asking for. Read full review Cons Simplification of structure and features (customization); sometimes it's too much of a good thing. The mobile app could be more closely aligned with the web platform (not all items, features are available, and not as easy to navigate and view data). Dashboard widgets could be more interactive. Ex: Aged Receivables should allow bringing up a summary window of past-due project billings and invoices as opposed to simply showing days aged that it already shows on the side and with matching color. More integrations/automations outside ClickUp - using Zapier is a quick-fix but long term would be great to stay within the ClickUp ecosystem Delegate mode! We have been using Core for a few years now, and honestly started to look at other software systems to see what was out there. What we chose was a nightmare for migration so we never left Core. Now we have added invoicing and payments from Core instead of double entry with QBO. Still only a few cycles in but looks like it will be up to speed soon and working smoothly.

We're very pleased with how the system works in general. For over a year we've barely ever had any problems with ClickUp and there might have only been one or two times when it wasn't operational for us due to a global emergency. Moreover, when we had a problem once with renewing our licenses we've been contacted directly by our account manager and taken care of in a very professional way (with a due refund as well). The exceptional customer service makes us firmly believe that ClickUp is just the right tool for us.

If I were being asked why i give it a 10/10 rating, I suppose it would come down to one, and really honestly just the one single item: usability. I live a busy life, you know? When I need to get in to log my time I can do that extremely expediently. I like the program that I'm using if that makes sense.

Far easier to use than any other PM tool. ClickUp is incredibly intuitive and had us saving time and energy within the first week of implementation. In my opinion, PM software should make it easier to focus on the deliverables - it shouldn't take all your time and energy to learn how to use the tool in the first place. ClickUp is a user-friendly tool that actually helps us focus on what's important.

I would rate ClickUp's availability as an 8. In my experience, ClickUp has been available when I need it most of the time. However, there have been a few instances where there were some issues with application errors or unplanned outages that affected my work. The reason for this rating is that ClickUp's support team was able to address these issues quickly and efficiently. They communicated well with their users during the outages and provided updates regularly, which helped to minimize the impact on my work.Overall, I feel that ClickUp has done a good job of ensuring that their platform is available when I need it, and they have been responsive in addressing any issues that arise. While there have been a few bumps along the way, I am generally satisfied with the availability of ClickUp and feel confident in using it for my day-to-day work.

I understand that it's a beast and does a lot of things, which is probably why it's laggy. But I do find it takes longer than I'd like to load, and if I am sending a complex document to a client or team member they aren't quite sure if they're getting the right thing at first. This is actually a pretty significant problem - my biggest beef with ClickUp.

The software makes my process of submitting documents and expense reports easier! The way it tracks hours is great and reliable. The interface is easy to use and the graphic is very intuitive. The customer service is also great and it helped me a lot when I needed. Very satisfied

ClickUp support is incredible! They respond quickly with any questions about my issue, provide a timeline, and elaborate on how they will solve my problem. They are incredibly respectful and accommodating. Whenever I run into an issue, I know that ClickUp support will be happy to answer any questions and help my team out. When I start a support ticket, I know that I won't be getting sent article recommendations, I will be speaking to their customer support team immediately

where both DOS based operating systems so BillQuick is a god send compared to them. While BillQuick and Ajera are both Windows based, when we purchased BillQuick, it was mainly because for the size of the company we were (12 people), it was a much better option than Ajera, which is great for a larger firm. As we have grown, BillQuick has done a great job at growing with us. The only issue we are having is that we opened an office in another state and we have not been able to get those staff members to access the data base yet. But we are working on it

For us, ClickUp is a more powerful tool compared with Notion. For example, to track time in ClickUp we just have to open the project task tab and start the time tracking. In Notion to track time we had to enable additional integrations and browser extensions with third parties like Togglr in order to track time
Read full review Contract Terms and Pricing Model
As with any software vendor, there may be aspects of the contract terms and pricing model for ClickUp that customers would like to see changed or improved. Here are some potential areas for improvement:Pricing tiers: ClickUp offers a variety of pricing tiers based on the number of users and features needed, but some customers may feel that the pricing is too high for their needs. They may appreciate more flexibility in choosing the features they want at a lower price point.Contract length: Some customers may prefer shorter contract lengths or the ability to pay on a month-to-month basis rather than committing to a longer-term contract.Discount options: While ClickUp does offer discounts for annual contracts and non-profit organizations, some customers may want additional discount options such as volume discounts or loyalty rewards for long-term customers.Transparency: Some customers may want more transparency around pricing and contract terms, including clear explanations of what is included in each pricing tier and any additional fees or charges.Overall, while ClickUp's pricing model is generally fair and transparent, there may be opportunities for the vendor to offer more flexibility and customization to meet the unique needs of individual customers.

Scaling with ClickUp is superb. If you create a workflow best suited for your organization then it's all about creating new accounts and teaching the new employees the workflow you're using. It's that simple. There is no black magic when it comes to Clickup.
While ClickUp itself is an excellent product, I found the professional services to be somewhat lacking. While they were generally helpful in answering my questions and providing guidance, I felt that there was a lack of communication and follow-up throughout the implementation process. In some cases, I had to wait longer than expected to receive responses to my questions, and I found that the support team was not always able to provide the level of guidance and expertise that I needed. Additionally, I found the documentation and resources provided by the professional services team to be somewhat limited and not always as helpful as they could have been.Overall, while the professional services team was able to help me get started with ClickUp, I felt that there was room for improvement in terms of communication, responsiveness, and the quality of the guidance and resources provided. As such, I gave them a rating of 5 out of 10.
