Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Druva is a very easy product to use. Since I do not have to make many changes it can be easy to forget the procedures of adding a new VM to be backed up. Between Druva's support and their comprehensive document system for their customers the task is fairly easy to remind yourself what steps need to be taken.

Reduced TCO, simple to implement, almost nil training and transition cost. Simplified billing model. No hardware to maintain, thus less defects and higher uptime.
It has been a win-win solution for us where we can increase uptime, agility at reduced cost. Our ability to secure business data also increases many fold.

The reason I gave Druva Phoenix this rating is because this service is very easy to use. Not only is it easy to use the console, but to install the agents. Then once the agents are installed, it is easy to get all of the jobs configured. Once the jobs are configured, the reporting is nice and easy to use as well.

It is just easy to deploy and easy to use. You do need to know what you are doing to operate it, but you don't need an IT degree to understand the basic concepts in order to get your system running and recover information when necessary. The pricing structure also works based on credits, which turn out as a good win-win strategy depending on how much data you need to hold.

The product is great, but when I'm in the dashboard, I want to have all data present. If I'm tracing down why a file failed to copy in a backup, I need to sleuth through the logs on the system. Would prefer to send a command from the dashboard to pull logs up to the cloud so I can view them there. This would help with a number of backup administrators that do not have direct access to the systems in question.

Phoenix is a good solution to explore for DRaaS. The deduplication capability and the ability to backup not just VM but also databases allows for a more fine-grained restore including file or table level.

However as Phoenix can only restore the VMs to AWS, you will not be able to use its full functionality if AWS is not your main cloud provider. Even with AWS you will need to involve your Cloud Solution Architect to assist with the design of the network environment to ensure the DRaaS works as expected.

Nothing is perfect. We would like to migrate/merge organization within the portal so that we can restore to certain areas.

The best backup software doesn't need much attention, and Druva has been a revelation in this regard. The credit system took some getting used to, but it's a price worth paying for the peace of mind.

By far the best backup product I have used. Not having tapes etc., to rely on means we can restore what we want, anytime, and to any location.
