Lifesize Video Conferencing is a video conferencing solution that offers great features and a high level of collaboration with face-to-face screen sharing with HD video and audio quality, as well as being fast and secure with business quality. I really like this tool because it offers a robust but very easy-to-configure interface as well as excellent customer service and immediate connection from anywhere and on any device. I love that meetings are smooth and smart, audio and video don't get stuck and meetings run smoothly.

  • Lifesize Video Conferencing is an online meeting platform that provides effectiveness and simplicity, a mixture of professionalism and intelligence has provided me with an excellent service, working normally, so far it has not thrown me errors or setbacks, there is nothing that bothers me.

  • Lifesize Video Conferencing helps me communicate with my colleagues, clients, and co-workers through simple and secure meetings, face-to-face screen sharing without limits or borders, helps me reach my clients with a unique experience as if we were dealing personally is perfect for closing deals, collaborating on projects with my co-workers and at the same time-saving time, streamlining tasks and completing work in record time, thanks to this tool I can connect from my sofa, having a coffee and even traveling in the plane is the perfect measure to not postpone my projects and carry them out without complications.

We use Lifesize Video Conferencing for all our web conferencing needs. The software is deployed in all departments and we have been using it for both internal and external web meetings. It is so easy to use and offers some of the best features. I particularly like the easy controls and the quality of audio and video.

As a Video Conferencing device, Lifesize Video Conferencing's generally work ok. They allow groups of people to converse that might have required a lot of travel. However, we started phasing out the Lifesize Video Conferencing devices for lack of extra features. They come in at a lower price point than some other competitor devices but with that, comes with a lack of features and sadly, a lack of support as well.
Pros
  • In the simplest form of Video Conferencing, they work for small meetings
  • In some of the newer models, the video quality is pretty darn good if you can support the bandwidth
  • The table-top phone/speaker integrates nicely
Cons
  • Lack of features or options to integrate with other solutions
  • Audio was just ok. If it was a meeting with more than 3-4 people, it seemed it was too much
  • I had a hard time with support. They were not very responsive and felt like an up-hill battle at times.
Likelihood to Recommend
I think there's much better options out there. In a small setting, they might be suitable but I don't believe they scale very well in any medium-large size businesses.

We wanted to take advantage of things like a Microsoft Exchange calendar, a "Join Now" button and integrating with Teams. These are all things that our company made a sizeable investment on and in order to take things to the next level, we had to move on from Lifesize Video Conferencing.

It is being used for conduction conference meetings of various departments pertaining to various units of the organization located across the country. We use the platform to share and discuss various business, execution related issues, review meetings etc. We also share the documents relevant to the meeting/discussion using the platform to facilitate our discussions. The amazing audio and video quality of the platform has been a facilitator for smooth and steady conductance of all our meetings. The platform has been a great enabler for business specifically in the time of the ongoing pandemic.

  • Easy interface
  • Less app size
  • Accessibility from various interfaces be it desktop or mobile, windows or mac Or Android.
  • Flexibility to access through browser also, also through Third party rooms.
Cons
  • Document/screen sharing needs improvement.
  • Abrupt disconnection without warning.
  • Lag in turning on/off the mic.
  • Data management/security concerns as it is outsourced.
Likelihood to Recommend
Best suited for discussions for people located at different locations with great audio/visual clarity. In case document sharing is needed, there might be some issues but still the service is satisfactory. All the standard features of Video conferencing like call recording, chat, screen sharing are available that too at a reasonable pricing.

Lifesize improves communication no matter which location you are in. When considering the video quality I think it has an advantage over other tools. During the meetings, I don't face any serious interruptions or any crashes in the application. During the pandemic, video conference programs have more importance than old years so having a good video conference with colleagues really important. Lifesize one of the best tools to meet these expectations.
