Dyn's ease of use I rate as being a little higher than some competitors.

Oracle Dyn Managed DNS has every option and feature I could ask for and more. Any time I have ran into a situation of needing something new for me it has already been an option sitting there waiting for me to use. I highly prefer the simple, un-bloated interface that Dyn offers.

It's fine, but not great. I think the UI controls for finding how to edit a record are hidden and somewhat unintuitive. The lack of search in the zone editor is really unfortunate.

There is some room to improve the interface, but the service works well, updates easily and in a clear fashion, and provides value.

Overall the usability of Dyn is great. We appreciate the fact that it's easy to understand, has many features, and we usually don't have to dig deep in random pages to find what we try to accomplish. For example, GoDaddy doesn't make it easy to redirect websites, and depending on when you purchased a domain from them, the configuration varies. With Dyn, the configuration is always the same and always easy to find.

Very useable User interface for DNS changes which scores DYN high

However the user management interfaces are awful, non intuitive and not fit for purpose so this brings my score way down

Fairly straight forward once you get used to it but can take a bit to learn. New employees need to be run through the process once or twice to be sure they can use Oracle properly. After that they can quickly and easily create the needed domains without any supervision.

As previously mentioned, the UI is very straightforward and simple to use. Organization of domains makes sense and the ability to add new domains is very quick and easy to accomplish. The only issue is related to the management of user accounts, which is confusing. Once you figure it out though, it works alright.

Oracle Dyn Managed DNS is a good selection in the market place. It's a good product primarily for external facing service endpoints. The web interface is relatively simple. The RESTFUL API is adequate, but it can be improved for additional functionality. The same can be said about the SDK. Overall, it's a product for moderate sized organization.
