Qlik Remote Workforce Operations
Qlik is very intuitive and can be rolled out to a user based with limited IT background much more broadly and with more ease than other tools that are similar in nature. We've been please with the learning curve of standard business users in there adoption of the Qlik toolset.
Qlik Sense is, unfortunately, completely useless to my team. As non-IT stakeholders looking for business analytics for projects, org-wide tracking, and KPI analysis, we simply don't have the access or support level needed to benefit from any of the features. Power BI is supported much more widely within our organization, with several teams dedicated to analytics using this tool and committed to putting data where it needs to be to connect to Power BI. Qlik was only handled by a few certain teams within DSI/metrics teams and largely inaccessible due to the typical "put in a ticket and we'll get to it" reply from developers.

Great for Data Vis, you'll never want to go back to Excel
Our Tableau evaluation sort of happened by accident; we were actively pursuing Qlik when a C level suggested Tableau. So far it has not deployed as smoothly but does appear to be quite powerful as well. From my current perspective, Qlik is much more intuitive to use - even if that may mean it doesn't have quite the customization and in-depth options.

Qlik Sense: Only for power users
I did not select Qlik Sense. Both Tableau and Power Bi are better solutions than Qlik. Tableau provides better data visualizations. Power BI provides much better ease of data extraction and is more scalable for embedding into software solutions. Both provide better licensing deals (=cheaper) than Qlik. Overall, I would choose Power BI, Tableau then Qlik Sense in that order.

Qlik Sense review
I didn't select Qlik Sense, it was in the house when I arrived. Anyway, I think Qlik Sense does not fit with the new trends in modern data stacks and although I have used it for years, I would only continue to use it if the company is willing to invest in a second BI tool for guided analysis, which today thanks to the cloud and with a good data warehouse behind it, is feasible.

With Qlik you get reports that makes Sense
Back in the day when we had to make a decision which tool to use for BI reporting, Qlik Sense's feature set with multiple data sources and open data model was the clear winner. Power BI has evolved a lot since then, and today the comparison might be a lot tighter.

Qlik: The tool for quick insights
I only used Tableau for 6 months or so a few years ago. From what I remember, Tableau did not provide the level of data loading transformations that Qlik does. I find it much easier to build the data model I need using Qlik. Tableau did seem to have more statistical analysis objects which could be used, but I would still choose Qlik.
Previously, we used QlikView and it was difficult to modify something in a dashboard that was originally created by other colleagues. I think that QlikView it's a legacy and it will be decommissioned soon. Versus Power BI, I would say that Qlik Sense does a very nice figure in data loading and speed of searching features in big data reports.

Qlik Sense is the best BI tool I ever worked with. It opened my mind on the data world we live in
We got lucky and started our analytic journey with Qlik directly.The whole organization was using only excel before and some of the IT people knew about QlikView but not doing much with it. We have been trying Power BI but this is really nothing we can compare to Qlik Sense in term of what the product offers as a technical feature and user experience.

Sensible Qlik Sense
I have used SSRS previously for reporting. One interesting feature of SSRS is its email scheduling process, which comes in the same package as SSRS, but in Qlik Sense, we need to get the NPrinting package to make this happen (email scheduling). Still, we decided to go with Qlik Sense due to its dynamic visualization feature, which was absent in SSRS.

Each product has its strengths/weaknesses, [but] Qlik Sense offered the best approach to leverage the investment in knowledge used in our earlier dashboards formed in Qlik View and transitioned many two step applications ie. extract/join data SQL and present in Microsoft applications into one app does all.
Qlik Sense can be used for different business models across the company. Excel4apps is mainly for data reporting and less visual graphs and it relies on excel so it had limitations on the amount of data. It also requires Excel and Excel4apps skills so it is less user-friendly. Yardi Voyager has a different module for each type of business but it has limitations when combining different business models together for review.
- Tableau Server and Birst
Qlik Sense offers the most flexible and deepest data modelling compared to many other competitors. The scripting language offers a ton of options which allow us to manipulate complex data scenarios. The scripting is robust and is something missing from many competitors. The data manager is a friendly alternative which mirrors the main things available in competitors.
Other vendors products evaluated (in some cases used by other divisions within our corporation):
** SAP Analytics Cloud - stacks up quite well against Qlik Sense but the differences are subtle but important. Sometimes SAC has it over Qlik and sometimes Qlik has it over SAC so the evaluation is tricky. The licensing leads to SAC coming out on top and being an advantageous product if that is already stored in an SAP Business Information Warehouse (BW) environment (although SAC is not restricted to only that architecture and easily does non-SAP data ingestion too.
** MS Power BI - also stacks up quite well against Qlik Sense and especially on price, and especially as the natural extension to Office 365. Relies heavily on a desktop application (for development activities), whereas Qlik is a browser-based environment for both outputs of dashboards as well as the development of artifacts.
We are aware of a lot of the Qlik Products, but at this point in our analytics maturity curve, we do not opt to extend our landscape to include them, such as:

Real-time connectivity and push-down of the indexing function.
