Overall Satisfaction with 3CX

3CX was a replacement for our legacy PBX solution. We needed something more modern to replace the entire company's legacy phone system[.]
  • Easy to install
  • Fairly simple to use
  • Cheap
  • Integrations and API
  • Scripting/cli tools
  • Cheap (budget)
  • It didn't require a lot of knowledge to install and set it up
  • If you buy too much licenses for concurrent calls you cannot reduce license and price
  • Users loved the web interface
  • Admins loved it because it was easy to install and admin console is very much user friendly
  • We never had issue of system going down or any troubles
  • Amazing tech support
We had offers from a local company to do VoIP and we were looking at cisco even Microsoft for our solution, but in the end, we wanted control over our phone system not a service with good support, yet at the same time we didn't want to pay a lot of money for solutions like Cisco.

Do you think 3CX delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with 3CX's feature set?

Yes

Did 3CX live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of 3CX go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy 3CX again?

Yes

In many scenarios decision is driven by budget and compared to other solutions at the time of purchase [3CX] was simply the cheapest solution for what it has to offer. If you are looking for integrations, extensibility, and advanced functionalities, this might not be a solution for you. At the time of use (and this may have changed by now), there was a lack of APIs, CLI commands, and similar so nothing could be automated with the system. There are ways of importing data through CSV but automation would solve us so much time and support calls if we were able to connect with other systems.
