Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign

We are using it as the primary email sending software for our organization. We are using it to deliver a lead-gen to our opted-in subscribers, and a welcome sequence that follows. We needed a solution that would integrate with our website and provide a seamless experience, and ActiveCampaign does a phenomenal job of that. It is the only email sending solution that we use, and it is a lot better than Mailchimp that we were using before. I especially value the ability to add tags and the simplicity in which they categorize the contacts.

  • The user interface can be a little overwhelming depending on use case.
  • I would appreciate not every feature being an extra cost.
  • Having implemented the lead gen opt in, it has provided a vehicle to get more leads.
  • Cost-wise, it is the same as Mailchimp as we were spending before, but with more features.
  • It gives me the confidence to keep building email, because I know I have the right platform.
I went to ActiveCampaign because of the visual automations and the powerful integrations. From a cost perspective, they are neck and neck at the lower end where I am at. Since I don’t need the higher level CRM features, the powerful integrations are a winning point for me. Mailchimp does have better email template design, but I like the user interface of ActiveCampaign.
If you are tired of using Mailchimp, and want a more robust solution then I would recommend ActiveCampaign. If you need some visual automations and workflow then ActiveCampaign does a great job of that. It is simple to use, and build powerful workflows that enable you to automate a lot of work.
