Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
We use Acumatica for just about everything. Order entry, inventory and warehouse management, accounting and feeds to all our shopping cart platforms. We’re a distributor that works in both b2b and b2c, in various industries- jewelry, medical, dental and manufacturing, so it allows us to be flexible with our processes. It’s especially helped streamline all our product information so it’s accurate throughout our platforms.
- Reporting. We’re able to create GI’s to get us all the information we need on just about everything. It allows us to make better decisions and see what product is working for us and which aren’t.
- Customer management. Ability to have multiple contacts per company allow for easier reconciliation. This is great when each contact ships to different locations, we no longer have to create a different company profile per contact.
- Inventory management. Especially with order processing. Ability to have cross sells, related items and replacements all within the order entry screen allow us to help the customer get that they need.
- The connector to big commerce I feel is still weak. It may not be an Acumatica issue as much? And more so a big commerce issue, but there’s a piece missing that supports b2b connection.
- Kit allocations. We’re having a hard time creating assembly items that are built off of multiple products.
- Import scenarios are still a bit glitchy. Especially if you’re creating it off of a business event.
- It’s simplified our daily processes and how we manage inventory and orders.
- Downside is it requires a bit more maintenance. Having to plan an upgrade every year to move up to the next build version is time consuming.

Faster access to product data and cases allows us to help customers find what they need and convert a sale. Various customer price classes allows us to manage specific pricing for each type easier. Building promotions based off the price class is much easier as well.
We work with various industries that have different rules and costs/pricing. Acumatica provides easy conversions that work between different customer types that we no longer need to manually con very pricing, uoms, and promotions.
Competes pretty well, what sold us was the costs and scalability. We weren’t at a level yet for the bigger platforms so being able to grow with Acumatica was the big selling point.
