Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

Most of the project management side of it, but working with budgets, I do the invoicing and training, but mostly the project management side of things.
  • The costs for a project will hit immediately, whether it be time or a vendor bill or expense. It automatically hits your budget and you can budget on a daily basis versus budgeting on invoicing time.
  • I think on the back end, fixing some things that may have gone wrong. It's not as easy to do, entering in an AP bill and trying to take it out. There are some limitations when you're trying to fix those kinds of things.
  • It's had a great positive impact. When you're accounting and your project management, software is one and they talk to each other. There's no second-guessing and the numbers are what they are and it's just the visibility of both the accounting side of it and the project management side of it. Working together, it's great
It's helped because we have the visibility to show in real-time their budgets, the costs that are hitting their projects, the vendors that have that we've used, and their bills and their AP for that. So I think just overall visibility to the client is great.
We use it daily for everything from time to expenses to project management to accounting, and they all work within one system, so I think it suits our needs and the needs of our clients very well.

I think on the project management and budgeting side, it is very well suited to be able to easily create revenue and cost budgets and then be able to see revenue and costs hit the project.
