Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop is used across the whole organization to design website and for photo manipulation and restoration.
The web designer use Photoshop to prepare the design layout for websites while working with developers. We use it to prepare images for the web and for promotional materials. Our team also use Photoshop for digital photo restoration and to prepare images for digital products used for archiving and presentations.
  • Photoshop is an excellent tool for layout and design of promotional materials and especially for designing the layout for web pages. It is versatile and has the tools that makes the project easy to manage. I especially like the color swatches and the use of the eyedropper tool for sampling colors and also the use of the hex code to specify a particular color when working on a project.
  • The layers panel makes working on photo restoration very easy and efficient. It helps to organize the different changes that are made and also identify the different elements that are used. The layers panel also makes it easy to discard changes that are not complementary to the overall project. I especially like the feature that turns on and off the visibility of individual layers without having to make permanent changes to the project.
  • The history brush is an excellent backup tool in Photoshop. It is very useful when making a variety of changes to an image over a period of time. Being able to return to an earlier state of the project without loosing changes is helpful when making comparison between changes made over a period of time. This feature is especially helpful for photo restoration, to show how certain changes affect the overall image
  • The CS6 suite is great to use. My only suggestion would be to make it a little more intuitive for new users. There is a steep learning curve, however once that is overcome , using the program is a wonderful experience.

I have used Corel Draw design suite for many years, I still use it during the course of work; however, I find Photoshop CS6 to be more versatile when working with digital images and photos, especially to prepare images for the web and for restoring old and damaged photographs in the digital format.
I enjoy using Photoshop for my work and I will continue to use this software for the quality of work produced as well as for the ease of use. I will definitely keep using it personally and in our company for the benefits it allows us to offer our clients and customers.
Photoshop is one of the best software for preparing images for both digital and print applications. It is especially great for restoring damaged and aged print photographs. The adjustment layers and the clone tool makes the job easier with the help of the layers panel. It is also extremely versatile in preparing a variety of image formats for different applications such as web design, digital presentations, and graphic design.

2 - Adobe Photoshop requires patience and a great deal of practice to master the tools available in order to create the best results. Experience makes a big difference. The ability to improvise and the desire to experiment with the different tools aids creativity when using Photoshop. When working with images there are usually more than one process to achieve a desired results, as a result, experimenting with them can crate new discoveries.
