Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop is being used by my organization every day. We are an eCommerce fashion platform and use Photoshop to retouch, color calibrate, resize and compress our images of models, shoes, accessories, and bags. The app is only being used by the Content department. We are 9 retouchers and a team leader. We use macOS and Windows. Some iMacs are not what you call "new". They don't run the last operative system, so the last version of Photoshop is not supported. It's not in the mind of anyone to change to another app, Photoshop is king on our land.
  • Photoshop has a great hair mask brush, it's like any other on the market.
  • The "Select subject" function uses Adobe Sensei (Adobe's AI) to do almost all the work for you.
  • Photoshop is the best app for photo retouching and manipulation. You can Google that if you don't trust me.
  • Photoshop has the best user community on the internet, followed by Microsoft Excel.
  • Photoshop needs a smaller version for computers that help users to do some small things like cropping an image or color change them.
  • Photoshop needs to upgrade its iPad app. It is not the full app, and it's embarrassing.
  • Photoshop needs room for more user modifications like customized panels.
  • Adobe Sensei needs to get bigger and smarter.
  • Voice control would be great.
  • Adobe Photoshop has a lot of automation (based on AI technology) that make my work faster.
  • Creative Cloud licenses help you have Photoshop up to date.
  • It works with your GPU.
Adobe Photoshop is faster, more expansive, and has one of the best communities online. You can find any tutorial online for anything you want to do with it. But the biggest reason I prefer Photoshop over GIMP is that I use macOS.
Several years ago I had a problem with a bug that was giving me a headache on Photoshop. Adobe provided me with a free phone number that I called many times. The guys in the Netherlands were really helpful and told me that my license was free until the bug was resolved.
When the crisis hit my country really badly, I ask the Adobe Support for a discount. They understood me and gave me 40% off for a whole year.
As I said before: Photoshop is limitless. It can be used by a beginner or a pro. It depends on what you are trying to do with it. Only by using the app do you get better and better every day. Even inside it, you have tutorials provided by Adobe. They’re really helpful and have a lot of levels and techniques.

Adobe Photoshop is the number 1 app on the market for photo retouching or manipulation. No need for debate.
There are a lot of apps trying to make retouching easy or simple. Photoshop is not in that league. It is limitless, you can create literally anything with it. Apps like Pixelmator are trying to show the market they are cheaper, ask GIMP how that went for them.
