Overall Satisfaction with ADP SmartCompliance
I have used ADP for 20+ years. We use ADP SmartCompliance to manage our state tax notices. Its a great place to organize and see the status of my notices. I can quickly upload a tax notice to the portal and get updates on the status of the notice. I can also view the status of amendments and look up invoices.

- I can pull tax returns.
- All technology has room for improvement. They could add more features to the product.

We use ADP- WorkForce Now. We also use ADP check, ADP Tax Filing, WGPS and Time and Attendance. Having it all integrated frees up time so I can focus on running an accurate payroll and know that my taxes will be paid and deposited correctly and on time. I am more available to my employees with the extra time.
Having ADP WorkForce Now and ADP Smart Compliance takes the worry of tax filing off my plate. I can focus on running payroll and not also worry that a tax deposit might be late.
ADP updates us when a state or Federal agency has added a new tax or made a change. For example the WA Cares tax was set up by ADP. I just needed to collect exemption letters and block the tax on those who had them, but the tax set up and ready to go by the deadline.
I like that it all integrates and that I can access it from any computer. I can view amendments and tax notices and also run reports from ADP SmartCompliance. Its also nice that its built into WGPS so I can just click on the tab and get right to ADP SmartCompliance
I used this product for the Human Resources database and ADP for payroll and it did not integrate and we had to do double data entry. Having products that work together is a game changer. Not only does it save valuable time, but you have many less errors due to multiple data entry points.
