Overall Satisfaction with Alteryx

We use it to aggregate large amounts of Excel file (templates) into a single lead sheet that can be analyzed and used in Tax Return software.
  • Brings semi-structured template data together
  • Allows for crawling up a hierarchy
  • East for an end user to get up to speed on.
  • Price per seat
  • Some tools are not very user friendly in my opinion.
  • It has saved thousands of hours of data PREP time allowing for more value added analysis.
  • In my opinion, some tools are difficult to learn for a new users, but the most used tools are very easy.
Alteryx allows for easy aggregation of data as well as reformatting into a digestible format. This allows end users to spend more time looking at data and less time brining it together. One of the great things is that once you build the workflow, you just add in the updated data sources and your done.
I have not used these features.

Alteryx is fantastic for bringing together disparate bits of data from various sources files and formats. It doesn't do visualization very well even though there is some functionality built in.
