Overall its more efficent database management tool

The breadth of the service offering for Amazon Aurora as well as its capabilities and features make it almost irresistible for PostgreSQL or MySQL-compatible workloads. From the ease at which I can set up a geo-replicated, highly-available Aurora Cluster to the deep Aurora metrics captured in CloudWatch or Performance Insights I can collect and review in the course of analyzing query performance, Aurora enables me to deliver a database platform for our most business-critical applications with which I can be assured will more than adequately meet the needs of our developers and our customers.

Alternatives Considered

I wish Amazon Aurora was compatible with more than just PostgreSQL and MySQL.
Mongodb

Since its very userfriendly and flexible to configure I've chosen this service.
