Overall Satisfaction with Anaplan

Anaplan is a highly versatile platform with the ability to seamlessly build for varied use cases, it also provides the data integrity and helps to maintain golden source of truth for large organizations. Drastically bringing down manual effort involved in business planning process and quick implementation cycle is its biggest win, which makes it the favorite choice for customer nowadays.

Anaplan is more efficient to implement in terms of the waterfall approach of delivering the MVP in the first release and then accordingly working towards the appropriate user feedback/suggestions/enhancements in corresponding sprint planning phases. Hyperion is a pretty large suite setup that requires much expertise to be able to bring together the complete implementation and involves big bang release methodology along with further system enhancement approach as per business requirements.

With more understanding of platform what are the other enhancements/suggestions business processes and how they can be incorporated to the solution seamlessly.

Many requirements were changed post more understanding of the tool by business, which paved way for further enhancing the use case for better productivity of business needs.

Yes - It was divided into various use cases being delivered in a phased manner.
Change management was a small part of the implementation and was well-handled - Documenting changes is very necessary to avoid adhoc requirement changes and being able to deliver timely and quality solution.

Anaplan Support

They have slow response rate along with incomplete L1 resolution. Many a times issue needs to be escalated many times to be able to address the root cause and provide appropriate fix.

No, not required yet based on the quantity of active users and low frequency of critical support issues faced.
Yes - It took time and many escalation to get to the root and actual fix of the problem.
Never, their L1 support is unbearable its only the escalated L2, L3 support that is informative and knowledgeable to provide complete and satisfactory resolution.
