Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360
I use Articulate 360 to design scientific training courses our customers use in Biotechnology. Our customers use an Online Academy to get trained on our products. Articulate 360 has a suite of software for creating interactive courses. I mostly use RISE and Storyline which are software within the Articulate 360 products.
- Rise is clean and professional. It looks polished to users and is easy for learners to follow.
- They have outstanding support.
- Storyline allows you to create some very engaging intricate interactive learning.
- Generally, their products are user friendly.
- They are considered the Gold standard in elearning authoring.
- Their courses can be read on phones, tablets computers. etc.
- They also have a powerpoint add in for making really nice slides.
- Their review tool, allows you to easily send the courses to reviewers who can update in course.
- Although you can do a lot with Storyline, it does require a bit of a learning curve and a new designer would not easily be able to get started. Sometimes, if you don't design it correctly, your users might get stuck such as with a "submit" button that doesn't work, etc. The program files can be big and clunky.
- Rise is easy to use and looks nice but can use a bit more functionality. After you have made a few courses, you wish you could have more functionality and design, although Articulate does keep adding to it.
- Being a market leader, Articulate has just reaped the benefits of its stellar product. But they haven't done much to introduce newer products into the market. Soon other companies may come up with something that could cause them to lose their unique position.
- Ability to design clean professional courses to put into our LMS.
- Ability to build engaging creative courses.
- Great Review tool.
- Wonderful, prompt support staff.
- Powerpoint add-in to have professional slides.
- We used articulate from Day 1 and our 1st user. We now have close to 10,000 users that love our courses.
- Our customers who are our learners have been able to benefit by learning info on their own.
- We have saved money on in-person training by being able to have customers do quite a bit online.
Most of the other software don't have as many templates as Articulate 360. They are not as easy to use. Also, once you get an Articulate subscription, unless another software has a low price point or offers something unique there is no reason to change. I have not been able to see an offering that compares.
