Since we started using Avalara, the amount of time doing tax returns has decreased by 50%.
With the program getting updates about local taxes, we are saving money as we are charging the customer the correct amount of tax.

Systems Integrated With

E-Automate

The initial integration was easy. Our problem is that when E-automate does a revision of their software, they don't always check to make sure that the revision still works with Avalara.

Usability

The last upgrade to Avalara was incredibly easy to use.

By using Avalara Returns, this process has saved a lot of time.

I can't remember the name of the other product that we reviewed, but after the first meeting they didn't follow up. I took that as a sign that they would not be good with customer service.
Avalaras customer service has been very good.

Likelihood to Recommend

Having updated sales tax rates without having to do any work on our end is a huge plus for our company.
The ease of approving the tax returns is wonderful.
I would just like to have one screen where all the monthly reports load and I download the reports from that screen.
