Overall Satisfaction with Avalara

We use Avalara for all Direct to Consumer and Wholesale compliance needs. Reporting, Licensing, Registration, Excise Tax and we also use Avatax for Sales Tax reporting.

Initially difficult to provide all necessary information, but not any more difficult that any other software integration.
I would give it a 10 except that I would like more visibility. Specifically on submitted items. It is difficult to see where in the process the request is.
  • Avalara Returns
Yes, obviously we are benefitting from the returns process. it has freed up a tremendous amount of staff time.
I appreciate that Avalara is diligently trying to address concerns. They are attentive and responsive when pushed to be so, but initially a bit slow to respond. I believe they have the capability to be the very best compliance agency in the wine business but they need to continue to listen to their clients for the vast range of needs that exist.

Cross-Border Tax Compliance with Avalara

Avalara assists only in the sense that they help to make the information available. I wish there was a stronger knowledge base and ability to give advice when it comes to the economic nexus laws.
