Overall Satisfaction with Bandwidth

We used Bandwidth for the majority of our origination across the entire organization. We were a telecom network and they were an integral part of our business.
We found their network to be reliable, the porting department capable -- more capable than most -- and their troubleshooting to be top drawer when we did have an issue.
  • Their porting department does a good job of getting numbers ported. I would have to say that they did a better job with larger ports than with the smaller ones, but overall still did a good job.
  • We found their troubleshooting team VERY easy to work with and to report issues to. They didn't treat my folks as if they knew everything and the person calling knew nothing. They were good listeners, figured out the issues quickly, and responded to escalations in a timely manner.
  • Their network was very reliable, which we appreciated since they made up a good portion of what we used.
  • While their porting department does a wonderful job, it seems to be the department that feeds other departments. They promote many out of that department to take on more responsibility elsewhere in the company (which is a good thing). However, it leaves us to work with yet another porting person who we have to learn to work with.
  • I cannot really say much else that's negative about them. They do a good job, have an easy to use portal, and respond well when things aren't working.
  • We found Bandwidth to be very easy to work with and they grew as we grew. Their pricing was very competitive and they were always willing to take another look at their pricing for us.
Bandwidth wins hands down. We were lucky to get someone from CenturyLink to return our calls, their trouble reporting dashboard was horrible and they, as a company, were generally unresponsive when we escalated issues. They would close tickets when the issue was still very obviously occurring. Bandwidth doesn't close a ticket until the end user says it is fixed -- which is refreshing in the telecom industry.
Bandwidth covers the majority of areas where we had customers. However, there are still some areas we would have like to see them cover for calls. They cover more areas than our other carriers, but they did surprise us from time to time by an inability to be able to deliver call transport.
