Overall Satisfaction with Birdeye

We use Birdeye to handle our SMS and live chat marketing for our website. On top of that we incorporated the automated review request system for multiple locations. The software itself isn't anything special as there are numerous competitors, we were given a better rate at the time from an existing service and decided to try it.

Of all the services we have used DemandHub still has been the best. They all accomplish the same thing for requesting business reviews and enabling text messaging on our land lines but the customer service from DemandHub has been the best. Both Podium and BirdEye have provided terrible customer service once the contract had been signed. Disappointed in their companies.

I can't recommend any scenarios where I would suggest Birdeye in large part because of how they have handled communication with the company I work for. In my experience, I requested cancellation months ago and their staff have dodged it, lied about it and just outright stopped responding to requests. There are hundreds of products similar to what they offer for a lot cheaper and I suggest others to go that route.

Birdeye Support

I'd rate it 0 if I could. Customer support has ceased to exist since I tried to cancel. Prior to requesting cancellation they were in contact monthly but didn't really provide much feedback or help, just tried to sell existing addons or packages.

Since the cancellation request I've had a new manager reach out to me and when I asked again he said the billing department would get in touch with me...that was a month ago and I still have not heard anything. To me, they are likely trying to stop communication so the billing cycle gets re-enabled.

Using Birdeye

The UX for managing messages and responding to them is easy, but the admin panel is somewhat of a mess and sometimes can be confusing to find even the simplest of reports. Something so simple as an inbox of messages from the previous month doesn't exist making it more time-consuming to view the previous month's stats.
