Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

We use NXT as our CRM. It allows us to track our contacts and gifts from donors so that we are able to keep accurate records. It also holds all of our donor contact information, their affiliation information as well as main documents such as pledge forms, gift agreements, important correspondence, etc.

Pros

  • Contact tracking.
  • Gift Tracking.
  • Document tracking.
  • Task management.
  • Updates on necessary follow up.

Cons

  • Blackbaud occasionally goes down, rendering it useless for a few hours once every few weeks.
  • I'd prefer if there were more options to choose from when pulling lists.
  • I wish the task bar could be visible on the sides of the screen like google or outlook.
  • Contact Reports.
  • Gift Tracking.
  • Recording contact information.
  • Using one platform saves a lot of time and makes it very easy to work with different teams and departments cohesively.
  • I am able to track outreach with donors, which allows me to be more efficient and effective in getting ahold of prospects.
  • I am able to look at trends in giving, which leads to larger asks and more educated conversations with prospects.
I am able to look at trends in donor giving over the years. I can look at the number of gifts, the frequency of gifts, the trend of gift size over the years, and the fund accounts the donor gives to over the years. This all allows me to go into conversations well-educated on the donor's preferences and have the right conversation with them.
  • Online Training
We went through each feature step by step to allow us to fully understand all of the functions of RE NXT. We did this over a few sessions to that way we were able to navigate the site on our own and learn how to access each feature of the website.
Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT is more efficient and much faster than garish soft. It is also broader so I can track more information and run more thorough reports by using Raiser's Edge NXT over garish soft. RE NXT tracks more information and provides more useful updates and reminders so that I am always on top of important dates and pledge reminders.

Blackbaud RE NXT is extremely useful as a donor-based CRM. It allows our team to track contacts, tasks, reminders, documents, and gifts in one place. It also allows us to pull lists and reports quickly to use in everyday work. A particularly useful tool is the reporting dashboard, where you can view progress toward goals such as meeting goals, fundraising goals, contact goals, etc.
