We use it to support our solicitors and gain information on our constituents. However, the back end of Raiser's Edge is more helpful for entering gifts, running reports, completing mail merges, and sending emails.

I find it helpful, however, gifts that are more nuanced like stock or soft credit are harder to read in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT than in the back end of Raiser's Edge. It is almost more confusing to see the gifts in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT. However, the impact reporting is very helpful and allows us to see the connections we make with potential donors.

There is no way to get specific information, run advanced queries and reports, and run merges through Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT. Despite this, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT is easier for new users to understand and interact with.
