Overall Satisfaction with Bluebeam

I have used Bluebeam to convert my CAD drawings to PDF and to share them with engineers, builders, suppliers, and clients.
  • It used to convert my drawings to PDF easily
  • Mark-ups and collaboration were efficient
  • Sharing drawings was easier than with Adobe.
  • Customer service
  • Technical support
  • Updating and upgrading software
  • For me, it's been an expensive nightmare.
Years ago I used Adobe which was not well suited for CAD drawings. I soon found Bluebeam which at the time was a wonderful game changer. Sadly, my recent experience has caused me to begin searching elsewhere for new software.

Do you think Bluebeam delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with Bluebeam's feature set?

No

Did Bluebeam live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of Bluebeam go as expected?

No

Would you buy Bluebeam again?

No

My subscription was renewed and, in my opinion, the renewal software was less useful than the original. I paid additional money and agreed to a subscription system I do not feel comfortable with, and have now lost 4 days worth of productivity and progress trying to get the matter resolved.

Using Bluebeam

1 - Converting and sharing CAD drawings.
1 - Bluebeam should be supporting me. Otherwise anyone with a working knowledge of CAD and PDF
  • Converting to PDF
  • Sharing drawings
  • Collaboration across entities
  • Color renderings
Because this latest download has been a nightmare for me.

Bluebeam Support

In my opinion, customer service is woefully lacking. In my experience, they minimize any chance of efficiently receiving service of any kind for any issue.
ProsCons
None
Slow Resolution
Poor followup
Less knowledgeable
Problems left unsolved
Not kept informed
Escalation required
Difficult to get immediate help
Need to explain problems multiple times
Support doesn't seem to care
Slow Initial Response
Should anyone have to purchase support separately from any product? That seems a little sick to me.
