Overall Satisfaction with BQE CORE

We use BQE CORE for all time and expense tracking, client billing, and general accounting. Migration from another BQE product was a challenge. I feel they could have made this easier on the client by being more organized and arranging an reasonable and transparent timeline to know what to expect during and post-migration. Our training wasn't scheduled until the migration of the data was complete. At which time they had none of their regular trainers available for weeks, and a Senior Staff Member had to step in to get us rolling with the new product. There were several issues discovered during the first 6 months that we are still waiting for a resolution. Their customer service is friendly and available, but the follow through and time to resolution is in need of improvement.

For the general user who does only time and expense entry the system is a great option.
For accounting functions such as A/P - Vendor Bills, Bill Payments and Check printing the product is cumbersome and this could be made more streamlined.
Project Management - specifically Project Details is clunky

BQE CORE Support

Although Customer Service is available readily, the resolution of issues and related communication has been poor.

Using BQE CORE

BQE CORE just had undergone a "facelift" which is referred in their software as the New Look the same week we went live following migration. All product help videos and documentation show processes and features in their classic view. Even the trainers were not as versed in how things had changed in the New Look when we were getting training. There are still several things we must switch to the classic view to find. Perhaps the company rolled out their "New Look" a little soon, before the documentation and traning staff had been updated. Other than that we are generally happy with the functionality and have adapted to those things that work differently than in their other product BillQuick which we migrated from. Their customer service and issue resolution has some room for improvement.
