Overall Satisfaction with Brightpearl
We used Brightpearl in order to track inventory levels across three selling channels. These three selling channels are Amazon, eBay and our own website. It is used across the whole organization. Brightpearl allows live inventory levels across all channels which limits overselling on our part.
- The strength of Brightpearl is the ability to have accurate live inventory levels on selling channels.
- Brightpearl's integration with Shipstation provides a pretty seamless order to ship process.
- The ability to distinguish customer sales between retail and wholesale for us is important. We can set pricing accordingly.
- I have seen a lot of improvements over the last two years with the functionality of Brightpearl. I think some of their reporting functionality could be improved.
- I do not like the accounting module of Brightpearl and so I do not use it to product financial reports. I am not sure if it is because the backbone of Brightpearl is UK based.
- The document templates could be improved. The formatting functionality of the templates is limited.
- I do not have any negative impacts.
- The most positive impact Brightpearl has had on our business is the ability to manage inventory levels. When you are not overselling items, this turns into better customer service since you are not having to contact customers to tell them you don't have inventory which in turns increases employee efficieny.
- We have a better control over what sells, how many units sell, what we need to reorder and up levels on and what we should stop selling due to no profit.
I have not used any similar products in the past.
