Overall Satisfaction with busybusy

Heavy highway construction jobs in the state of Kansas almost always have state and/or federal funding. Because of this, any employee on the job must be accounted for by a labor classification and time on the job. My company uses BusyBusy not just to track overall time, but what jobs they are on, what labor classification they are working under, what truck/equipment is taken. The certified payroll process of our company was a huge factor when decided on an electronic time card app - BusyBusy was the best option for this!
  • Individual responsibility for time cards
  • easy review of all time through projects or groups of people
  • breadcrumb tracking of employees
  • the scheduling feature has room for improvement - the views are not condensed and cannot be viewed by all employee groups
  • during the time card review process - instead of a description - it would be nice to have a reason section when changing a time card
  • the geo fences around projects - I wish they could be linear
  • multiple job locations
  • cost code implementation
  • integration with accounting software
  • positive - more individual responsibility for time reporting
  • greater grasp on project/time location
  • faster payroll review
the switch feature and easy of use for the field employees, who are not all tech savvy, is why we chose busy busy. Other softwares only used a stop/go feature which we thought could be very confusing for employees who are just switching cost codes between jobs. Also integration was cleaner on busy busy.

Do you think busybusy delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with busybusy's feature set?

Yes

Did busybusy live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of busybusy go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy busybusy again?

Yes

BusyBusy is well suited for organizations with multiple off site job locations which require tracking. Due to it's ability to setup a high volume of work locations as well as bread crumb tracking between home office and job site, I think it is best suited for the service industry including construction, plumbing, landscaping etc. It is less appropriate for organization with single office on site work.
