Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

We use the Dayforce program for payroll, benefits, and WFM. Our entire company uses Dayforce - for timesheets, PTO, and many other things.

Pros

  • Timesheets are great and the use of the app for our employees is important
  • Paying all employees automatically added
  • Not having to touch every single employee every time!
  • Employees being able to reset their own passwords if they have their accounts and alerts set up correctly!

Cons

  • Employees original login should be a bit simpler!
  • Reports - not super user-friendly!
  • Need more and more and more in reporting!
  • Taxes! Very different from HPW - still learning after a year on Dayforce!
  • Definitely increased efficiency
  • Increased productivity
Limits with 401k, wages, taxes all work great!
It’s great that all information is together in terms of rehires and new hires!
We were already with Ceridian and wanted to stay where we were comfortable.
We would be drowning in a payroll river if it wasn’t for Dayforce! Our company has grown and grown and Dayforce has made it simple and manageable most of the time!

2 - we have one payroll person and one HR person supporting our employees in their use of Dayforce

Needed a product to keep up with our company growth - looked at Ceridian and ADP both did the same things so it made sense to stay with a co our employees were familiar with
I don’t think I would change what we did

Ceridian Dayforce HCM Implementation

Luckily the implementation team didn’t sell us on this product. They did a terrible job explaining - and scheduling as most of them lived on the west coast and we were an east coast company !

Ceridian supported me thru some PA local tax adjustments - checked my adjustments to make sure I did them right and waited for me to get everything done ! Took several days but I was pleased they waited and worked with me
