Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
We use DF for HR and payroll. We used the original Ceridian for both areas, however, it was more time consuming for payroll. Dayforce has allowed improved efficiencies for payroll and better tracking.
- Related to payroll DF does well in improving payroll efficiencies. The ability to import data into future pays , as well as, multiple pay groups, has been a huge improvement to help us get ahead.
- The link between HR benefits and payroll has been immense help in streamlining the benefits process and getting It into payroll.
- We are fairly new with the system and from what we've seen so far we like a great deal. We were initially told that DF would allow a bonus to be input into an EE's HR file and it would be rolled into payroll, however , that does not work without the system adjusting an employee's annual compensation. We were also told that if an employee changed to a different state and they didn't change their address to the new one until a few months after that the system would adjust the taxes retroactively. This also does not occur. HR is having problems that I can't provide enough detail on.
- Since we are relatively new to the system and have more to learn of its capabilities, we have not seen a cost savings yet, but I do forsee that in the future,
It has helped a great deal with staying compliant on tax withholding, especially in our other states that require local tax withholdings. The system automatically pulls in the local taxes based on the EE's address and allows us to determine if we are required to withhold or ask the EE if they want the tax withhold. It has also been helpful in staying compliant with our retirement plan.
N/A for our organization as we don't use all of DF's features
We don't use WFM and we have struggled with HR, but payroll has been a big improvement.
